My brother has ADHD and he took meds for it for a few months but then got sick off it and my parents agreed to take him off.
Well, his grades started dropping again so my parents told him that they want him to try the meds again.
His ADHD isn't as bad as some people; he does have a hard time paying attention (he'd just rather think about other things he could be doing is what he says) and is really active but not enough to get him in trouble at school, just attract attention and affect his grades.
Well anyways, today is the second day he was back on his meds and he hates it. He's so...different. And I can't stand him when he's like this, he isn't fun. He's just not himself. He tried talking to my parents but they say his grades suffer too much with out it.
He wants me to talk to them but I'm not sure what to say. He's already promised that he will try super hard to pay attention so that's all I have right now. Any ideas?
If it helps any, we're twins and both 17, I'm a girl.

If I were you I would offer to tutor your brother as he comes off the meds. Also, explre the possibility of a diffrent adhd drug for him.

I have this extremly werid fear of calling people. Its not just guys or people I dont know. Its friends and family too. I'll usually say I "forgot" to call them when really I never even wanted to pick up the phone. I have no idea why it happens and it can't be normal. Does anyone know how I can become better at wanting to call people? Or figure out what is causing me to be like this? - thanks (link)

I have this problem too, I get performance anxiety kind of, plus paranoid that they might screen my call, not be home (then you have to perform for the answering machine), be busy or just not want to be bothered. Try setting a time for yourself, (I call new girlfriends at 9 on the dot) and if you have a push button phone (not cell) then turn it on before you dial the numbers so you don't have to decide whether or not to press "call" (or on, whatever)

I wasn't sure which category it should go under, sorry.
Anyways, I hate my feet, like most people do. They aren't "ugly" or anything, and I keep them as clean and "pretty" as I can. But in a couple of spots, the skin is dry and cracked. Does anyone know any good lotions or "treatments" that would help get rid of this? Thanks. (link)

Be barefoot when you're just walking around your house, and especially do not wear wet socks. If there's a built up rough spot, as opposed to a sore spot where the skin is thin or broken, you can get a stone at a pharmacy to rub the callouse off. Other than that, try hiking socks (extra padding, like Thorlos brand) and some Aveeno lotion.

If you only learn one thing today I want it to be that working out a specific are (thighs, abs, etc.) does not burn fat in that particular area anymore than the rest of your body. Some people store fat more readily on certain parts of their body, but you cannot get rid of fat in one particular place, just all over at once. Running is the best, and try to eat right. This doesn't mean a special diet or eating alot of salad, just try and have food from all the food groups, and stay away from processed foods. Also, stop when you're not hungry anymore, instead of waiting for a full feeling.

I want to know what are some things that cause premature birth and what disroders or health problems can they develop if they survived.
The reason I'm asking is because I was born premature && I've developed Anorexia.I didnt' know it until I just noticed.And I want to know if being premature has anything to do with me developing Anorexia.
And well I've just recently found out that my mother use to be Bulimic. Could it also be that its genetic., Or because of my premature birth. or both?
My question are :
What kinds of health problems can premature people who survive develope as they grow old?
Is it possible that because of my premature birth, Ive developed ANorexia or is it because My mother had Bulimia when she was my age (13)?
and anything else.

A new study indicated that premature babies were more likely to develop anxiety disorders later in life, that is the only link I can think of. Overall though, it doesn'tmake it more your fault if there was no underlying cause, anorexia is a disease and you should get help. It's nobody's fault but it still has to be dealt with.

I run track, I try to eat healthy, I do sit ups but I need abs, well some of this fat into muscle. I need it in less than 20 days. I dont have any equipment and can't buy anything. Can someone help me please. ASAP (link)

Lie with your forearms on the ground and your back straight, almost like a pushup. Push your butt up into the air slightly and hold it there for a minute. Do this as often as possible, it's close to magic.

how do i work out my calves(?) and legs at home? i want to make my thighs muscular, but bigger and i don't have the time to go to the gym to lift any wieghts.

One-legged squats. It's a bodyweight exercise, so there's no need for any equipment. Stand on one leg, and lower yourself down right till you're sitting on your haunch, then push yourself back up. You might want to do this near something to keep your balance at first. Also, you might have trouble keeping your other foot off the ground, so try it at the top of some steps. Do it until you think you're going to die, and it's been a good workout.

Ah yes, silly as this may sound but I am in my twenties and having trouble striking up a conversation with this girl whom I happen to like. I have no problem smiling, winking, or saying hi, but thats it. Than i get nervous and words disappear. How do I strike up a conversation with her and actually get her interest. That without saying something silly. I don't mean over coffe or dinner. Just a random approach. Your tips and advice will always be very much appreciated. (link)

Look around when ou're near her, and pretend you are out with someone ou know well. Say whatever comes to mind. Starting a conversation, as long as you don't say something horrible, it doesn't matter how interesting you are. She's already decided how interesting you are, you just have to give her opportunity to express it.
