advice

I want to try out for my highschools cheerleading squad.. Ive never cheered b4 but i heard that high school tryout are hard. if u tried out for you high schools cheerleading squad, what did you have to do?

Mostly, in my school, you have to do a side cheer and a 45 second dance cheer (which they teach to you during your tryout.) It really isn't that hard. I was scared at first, but then you feel all good that you actually tried it. Oh and if you don't know how to do a cartwheel or anything like that, don't worry, they don't worry about that.

My best friend jade is getting mad at me because i am freinds with this girl kayla who she got in a fight with. now she wont talk to me unless i stop being kaylas friend, and then we
stoped talking, now yesterday she called me saying that she wants to be my friend again should i forgive her?

This is what happens to every girl in school. I've seen it happen before with girls in my grade. Mostly, just tell her what's on your mind and tell her that it doesn't make any sense that she wants to be your friend now that you aren't talking to Kayla.

I've told him I'm depressed & that I think about killing myself all the time. But how do I straight out tell him I want to get help before I actually try to kill myself?

i think you answered your own question. just tell your father that you really want some help and explain everything and anything you want to him when you are telling him him this.

so i have a question. why is it that models never have skin cancer and they always look tan? also, where can i find a good self-tanner?

K sweetie, thanks for your question. =] Anyway, models don't tan in the sun. That's why they always look like they have natural looking skin. They use spray on tanners, like self-tanning. Also your other question was where you can find a good self-tanner. My answer would probably be Lancome self-tanner spray, but if you want something a little cheaper, try Neutrogena (sp?) self-tanning..it works..all my friends use it. But they also just came out with something new. It's by Jergens..and its a mosturizer, but it has some stuff in it that makes your skin really tan. Try it out sometime.

ok, so I have this party that i'm having and I didn't invite some people. It's not because I didn't want to, but its because I couldn't invite a load of people. Now they are all mad at me and are ignoring me. What should I do??

Have you told them that you couldn't invite that many people? If not, then try and tell them and see how it goes. If they are ignoring you just because you didn't invite them, then they really aren't true friends, are they? If nothing works, then try and have another party and invite the people that you didn't invite to it.

Thanks so much Heather!! It sounds really adorable that you two have been that close for so long. Anyway, I think that you should try and tell him that you like him more than just a close friend. It's better taking a risk, but if you don't want to, then just let things be the way they are. If it's that good of a relationship between him and you, I think he would really understand. Hey, but you never know, he might like you the same way. He just probably never had the courage to let you know. Take Ryan Cabrera and Ashlee Simpson for example, they both were best friends for so long and they look so cute together. I totally think you two would be awesome together. Hope that helped love!

okay well im a teenager and i live in Tampa florida.

my friends and i use to go to the mall every friday. pretty lame huh? yeah thats why we stopped going.

well since we stopped going there isnt really much to do around here.

Well, you could probably have all of your friends over at your house or someone elses and watch some movies, listen to music, or just chat about anything. Try and come up with creative ideas to make the night even better.

You could probably dye your hair brown, because that will give your eyes a really nice effect. But before you try the color brown, see how a blonde color looks.

15/F ok..Well I have a few girls that I used to be friends with that like to call me a slut because they hear about stuff from people that I have supposedly done with guys (they got the whole idea from when they found out I had sex with 2 guys),..And they tell people at school about it then it gets around to everyone eventually..so now my name at school is "slut girl"..How do I get people to stop talking crap on me about that?

Just don't take it into consideration. Teenagers do that in High School just so they can get you really upset. And when they see you like that, they think they did a really good job. So don't show them that you are upset..just ignore it and soon it will go away. If you still need more help, I definetly recommend watching the movie "Odd Girl Out" because it deals with the kinds of problems that you and many girls have out there.
