I'm a 20 year old college student at the University of Miami, majoring in Child/Adolescent Psychology. I'm young, but have been through enough and have tons of advice and experience on almost any subject! What I'll give you is straight up advice... no sugar-coating... with alittle psych terminology thrown in for effect!

There is a guy I like his name is PJ but Im not sure If he likes me.WE hang out together we share snacks we are both afraid to go off the highdive and we always want to sit next to eachother are we better off as friends or should I start flirting more??
Trying flirting alittle bit more and see what kind of reaction you get. If he flirts back... continue flirting and see where things go. If not, then back off and try being just his friend.
I have a friend and as a person she is great but our friendship isnt the best. I always feel like im the one screwing things up and sometimes i feel like she trys to make it so that im the bad person just so its not her fault like its her way of getting out whats inside of her but yet it makes me feel so horrible and im not the best person for taking things lightly. i dont really know what i should do so help me?
I think you friend has her own problems and she is obviously taking it out on you. If she twists things around all the time.. call her out on it! Don't back down to her. You need to talk to her and tell her how you feel or else things will keep going like this and it will lead to the end of the friendship. Speak up hun!

I live in a suburb of New York City and I'm a Senior in High School. I'm trying to decide where to go to college. My top 3 choices are Cornell, Florida State, and Miami, and I've already gotten into all three. Miami gave me a lot of money, but Florida State has the best program for what I want to do and Cornell is the closest to home. I love all three campuses and don't care about travelling far away, but I don't want to make the wrong decision.
Any thoughts?
GO CANES! I am a junior at the University of Miami and it is amazing there. I, too, decided to go there because they gave me the most money. We are a private institution which makes us special and lots of requirements do not apply... so being partial i say.. GO TO MIAMI!!!!! BECOME A MIAMI HURRICANE!!!!!!!! Has anyone here gotten there tonsils out? If so, what's the best food to eat other than ice cream? I just got mine out 2 days ago and nothing tastes good and I'm in pain -__-||
I had mine out when I was 9... ice cream and things that are incredibly cold made not only my throat hurt but my ears too.. try smoothies and ice cream floats made in a blender... mashed potatoes works too.

I'M THE QUEEN OF PLAYING HARD TO GET! Here's the secret... show very little of how you feel about them. My friends and I at college have this little understanding.. its "The Covenant"... the main idea of this is to remember... THE LESS EMOTION YOU SHOW... THE MORE HE WILL RUN AFTER YOU!!!!!! Guys are easy to mold.. and have easy minds to play with. Whatever you do, flirt, talk, etc. make sure that you don't take things too far emotionally and then keep your space.
hi. i've been with my b/f for about 5 mo. and i'm 14 and he's 16. i REALLY want to have a baby! i don't know why i just ReAlLy do! but also my cuz whos 20 's g/f just had a baby and she was 17(now 18) and they really struggle with financial problems. then his bro was dating a woman last year and just 2 weeks ago found out he was a dad. i really want to have a baby! what should i do?
Ok hunny... here comes the answer that everyone is trying so desperately to avoid. Why do you think you really want to have a baby? Girls who want so badly to have a baby are lacking something... they are lacking love and affection and a dependency. You are only 14!!!! You are still a baby and you need to reach inside yourself and see why it is that you really want to have one.. fix that, and then your wish will fade away until you are in a better situation.. ie: married to the love of your life and financially stable. Trust me girl... there is another reason why you want a baby... and the answer to that reason is not to bring another entity into this world who would not be able to have the life everyone, especially you, would want to give it. Stop and think. Sorry for being blunt.. but someones got to do it.
hello, i am a 23 year old female. i have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for six and a half years. we have had our share of problems, but nothing really bad. i think that our biggest problem is communication. whenever we are involved in a heated discussion, i start crying and he gets mad. i'm a very emotional person and i can't help it. i tell him this all the time. however, sometimes he yells at me and says mean things to me. i have told him that he can't talk to me any kind of way. he never says disrespectful things, but i still feel disrespected by the way he says things. i think that this is something that we can work out if we could communicate better with each other. if i start to cry he gets angry and doesn't want to talk anymore. we recently had an argument, i got really upset and told him that i didn't want to be with him anymore. i didn't mean it and i would like to talk to him about it, but i'm afraid that if i call him, he might make me feel like he doesn't care or doesn't want to talk about it. he has been a major part of my life. he has been there for me through so much. i love him and i know that he love me. what should i do? a part of me feels like if i give it too much time he might not want to be with me. another part of me feels that he needs time to see what he is missing. i'm so confused about what to do.

I have been there, and done that. Everyone knows that communication is key.. but if he cannot deal with you being emotional, which by the way every girl is, then he is NOT strong enough to be your man. There is obviously some strong feelings there, and first you need to identify what those are.. and then take it from there. Remember, "never a truer word were said in jest"... if you didn't mean it, call him and ask to talk to him about it... if deep down you did mean it... I think it's time to lay this one to rest.
