Q: if a girl asks a guy to prom, does she pay for both tickets? does the boy traditionally pay, or does each person pay for their own?

Well, in my personal opinion. Look at it this way.

If he had asked you, should he expect you to pay?
No.

But, if he's the right kind of guy, he will pay you for it somehow because that's the polite thing to do.

Q: I am a sophmore in highschool and I have been thinking about careers for my future. There has been one thing that I have been interested in for a while now. I want to become a sex therapist to cousil couples about their sex lives.. Sort of like Dr. Ruth? (Short little lady that talks about sex alot). The thing is.. I'm not sure how to approach my parents about it, because they would probably think it's a horrible career choice and wouldn't agree with what I'd be doing with my life. In my personal opinion I think it's admirable career.

So, I have a few questions here. One would be how should I approach my parents about this subject? The other is what colleges would actually have that course? Or is it made up of multiple courses?

Well, the kind of work your talking about is a type of therapy. So tell your parents you want to go into psychology. It's just a certain type of it so, good luck with your aspirations.

Q: I am thinking about learning to play the guitar, electric and acustic. My school social worker showed me one in the form of an acustic, but I would like to know where I can find one that is inexpensive and is in the shape of an electric?{the triangle that looks like it has a triangle taken out of it}

One, get a guitar teacher who has a degree in music or a masters in it.

Second, the guitar you want, which is called a Flying V is made by Gibson, an extremely popular guitar company. There are many models and they aren't cheap. The rip offs are never going to sound as good, so I suggest workign yuor way up. Go to your local Guitar Center store and ask what the best beginer guitars are.

And as for the girl, dont just try and learn soem songs really quick and play em to her. Like, get really good at this instrument before you try and sawy her heart.

Q: Does anyone know of any sites where I can find sweat shirts or hoodies of bands besides their own sites? Some of the bands I want are:

Q: I determined to find some new bands to like, I don't really want any mainstream bands just like, got-to-their-shows bands. I don't really, like much emo and I don't like any skater/incucbus/audioslave type music. I am into punkish music and music with synthesizers but not techno. My favorite artists are Bjork, Polyphonic Spree, Aquabats, Me First and The Gimme Gimmes, Cranberries, Len, and Electric Light Orchestra. I am cool with Ska as well. Just give me a list of bands that I could listen to and I'll be satisfied.

All three of those bands are worth your money and time. So, definitely pick up all of their albums. All of their songs are pretty amazing.

Hmmm, thats a tough one. Don't keep trying to pop em of, definitely. I had a friend who rip her nail off. it hurts like a bitch.

Maybe have it taken off by a manicurist in a nail salon. They should have something to take it off.

Q: OK, so I'm average height, average weight. My best best best best friend is this girl, let's call her Patricia. Well Patricia told my other friend "Lucy" that I was thinking of wearing a leotard for halloween, and that I would look fat in it.

Patricia doesn't know I know she said that, but Lucy told me. I'm scared to talk about it with Patricia because we have such a good time together and we see each other alot, but its kind of eating me up inside. She knows im sensitive to this subject because I was chubbier when I was younger.

First off, I'm sure your not fat at all. And no offence to your friend, but that was pretty damn bitchy of her.

Um, because you're not using it to get pleasure? It's kinda like, guy might touch you, but if you don't like them it doesn't do anything for you. It's not a tampons purpose.

im 16/f and i weigh 110... it seems like i never gain weight and recently (or well since school started) i havnt had an appetite, so i hardly ever eat. I need some ways to gain weight and also some ways to convince myself to eat, (im not anorexic if thats what youre wondering) i only eat when im hungry and i stop when im full, but it seems like everyday, i can eat a little bit less and still be full... are there some ways to make youre brain think youre still hungry?? my doctor said i was a fine weight and she said she knows im not anorexic, but she didnt tell me how to gain wieght ( and ive never done drugs, so no that wouldnt've messed with my system or anything, its been like this since i was little, just now its a little more intense i think) so please if theres any foods that can help you gain weight, or things to make myself hungry, please tell me... and also.. how can i gain more wieght in my chest adn butt area?? (im really flat in both =() but please do whatever you can to help thanks... will rate high =)

Some people just don't eat a lot, you may have a very good metabolism my friend. I wouldn't woory. Unless you stop eating altogether.

Q: Well my period is very irregular. Like The last time I had one was 4 months ago. It's always like that, sometimes it can go 7 months without one. I don't really mind it because it's less worry for me...but once every month ill get the cramps but no blood or anything, but then again it is a worry because Im always afraid of when itll be comming and I have no idea when, its unpredictable. But I was wondering if I could still get pregnant even though I dont have a period much? What do you think could possibly be wrong? Such factors I have considered would be stress, anxiety, depression, irregular eating patterns, could vegetarianism have something to do with it?

You might have a problem with your uterus. I would see a gynocoligist as soon as possible. I have a friend liek this who doesn't get it for ectremely loing periods of time, and she isn't able to have childrne.

Well, stress lowers your immune system. So, since a pimple is a infection, yes would be my answer for you.

Q: Ok i asked before how do i remove hairs from my private parts and someone said try Nair so i did.. Waxing is probably the only way you could get the result you want. But, don't do it yourself. The skin downstairs is extremely sensitive and you could get hurt easily. Have a liscensed cosmotoligist (usually thenlady that waxes your eyebrows) do it for you.

Q: ok this is my 4 or 5 period (don't really remember) and it started on wednesday and on friday night i had like very very very little blood and over night there was none at all so it was 12 hours with no blood and now all of sudden i had kinda alot what the heck!? Please don' tell me "thats the way the body works or your periiod is iiregualr" i wanna why that happened?!

It's normal my dear. I wouldn't worry. All periods are different. Definitely not a serious desease or anythign, so don't get worried =).
