i am a freshman this year and i am doing the international baccalaureate program. i have been in honors & advanced classes all my life and aced them all. so, is the ib program going to be way harder than the honors classes i am used to?

I own the Sims 2 for mac. The game was always running smoothly until one day the neighboorhoods wouldn't load all the way. You know how there are squares that appear at the top of the screen as it loads. Well, with me only two of them appeared and it just stayed like that. It this happening because there is not enough memory on my computer? Responses would be greatly appreciated.
Then you need to do a memory check, and clear out things you don't need on the computer. like softwares, documents, or even pictures that can be printed out. And see how the game works, then get back me
Yeah well my absolute best friend since the 1st grade just got a new boyfriend. It has recently come to my attention that he has been talking really bad about me and my boyfriend (my boyfriend and my friend were also really good friends before she met her boyfriend). I told me friend and she didn't care in the least bit and he keeps on doing it. Let me also say that she doesn't even like her boyfriend that much and theyve only been together for like 2 weeks. Should I feel like betrayed or something? If my boyfriend said one bad thing about my friend he'd be gone in a minute.
Well is she over him? If she is, talk to her, aboout you know when she was with him, and how you felt betrayed, and see where it goes from there. She might try to sweet talk since its over and done with, but you have to make peace, and see if you can trust her again. Good luck
me and my boyfriend had been together for about 8 months, i know it doesn't seem like...that long. i lost my virginity to him. he cheated on me, twice. once in march, once in june. in june he had sex with the girl. i'm not sure what he did with the other girl, he didn't have sex with her though. he realizes now that he made a huge mistake. he wasn't the one to tell me, it was some of his friends. he called me later crying, apologizing, feeling so awful. then yesterday he came over, and we ended things. things were ended good though, not bad. i forgave him for what he did. we cried on eachothers shoulders. it all sounds a little bit pathetic. whats even more pathetic is that i miss him, i realize i'll get over it. i just don't know what to do. i still have feelings for him. i'm ridiculous. Your not ridiculous, you are in pain. You gave it up to him. That makes you feel like your pivate part belongs to him. The fact that you were crying when he did wrong, just proves he made you feel guilty like you weren't protective enough, or didn't satisfy him enough. its not yours to blame. You need to remember that he broke your heart, and you have to move on quick, before he draws you back. I say call your girlfriends, and go party out. And try to flirt out a little bit, but not dangerous flirting, make sure others are with you. And do not think of him. Before you go out tell your girls the minute you break down, and think of him they should quickly change the subject no matter what. I'm sorry you lost your first sex, and i wish you the best.

yea, i see what you mean, masterbation is lust, and not love. So its something that will go on unless you can control your hormones (most can't)
I suggest trying to clear the hand by distracting it off, when you feel the intensity, listen to music, or read something that wanders your mind off of it. It's difficult, I know. If it doesn't work. Try to dream about it, by thinking of it before you fall asleep. sex in dreams, happen to satisfy your body when it's in need of that sexual feeling. Hope this'll work out for you.

Follow your heart, and it'll lead to your destiny. Try your best to get over disappoints that may come the way. (something britney spears never listened to, cough)

I play volleyball, and I always leave practice with very bad lower back pain! I do have scoliosis, and its pretty bad but its too late to get a brace to fix it. My doctor told me I shouldn't have much pain at all with scoliosis. I was wondering if anyone else gets bad back pain from volleyball, and if you guys had any stretches or tips to make the pain more bareable.
the thing is people are so spoiled wth pillows they don/'t realize that its a cause. Try sleeping, or resting without a pillow.And lay on your back. It helps your spine lay, ang grow straight, and stay that way. So when you bend(spines have natural flexibility)you have no back pains. I know, I know. It will feel uncomfortable the first time, but try it for atleast 3 days see how it works out.

Does anybody work at dunkin donuts? And do you have to work at the Drive thru or can you do whatever they offer?
Usually when you work at some type of drive thu, you constantly switch between cashier and drive thru. I have never worked there but I have witnessed others.
Since I was fifteen, I've been trying to find a job. Back then when I applied to places or asked about them hiring, they always said I had to be sixteen or older. Then I turned sixteen and everyone said I'd have to wait until I'm eighteen. I'll be turning eighteen in two weeks and I'm wondering where to go apply. I've applied at A LOT of places in the past few weeks, but I always get the same thing. They want to hire someone who matches their interests more. What I don't understand is how can you not want a seventeen, almost eighteen-year-old who has already graduated high school, about to start college, and can work almost anytime? The only times I can't work are Monday - Wednesday, and its only for 2 1/2 hours because I have college classes. Other than that, I have all the free time in the world. I don't go out much with friends.. so what am I doing wrong? The only thing I would think it would be is because I have never had a job before, but you gotta start somewhere.

you can google in teen jobs, or just jump right to www.snagajob.com, this is an issue for 15 year olds, but you should find jobs easily, try applying at your local mall. Working at places such as Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, or even Forever 21 will work out for you. I wish you the very best

Okay so my state (TN) has decided to mandate that every student K-12 get 90 minutes of excersize a week. Well they are using our homeroom time at my school to do just that. I think it is incredibly stupid because its not the school's responsibility to tell us what to do as far as excersizing goes. It is so damn retarded I can hardly stand it. I HATE coming to school now. OMG as if it wasnt bad enough LETS THROW IN SOME EXCERSIZE!!! Plus my homeroom teacher is strict with the rules, so if we dont do these excersizes every morning, she will write us up. I dont feel like I can talk to her because she wont understand. And I cant sit there and object while everyone else is doing it because that will draw negative attention to me. I get enough attention as it is for being fat. And thats not the reason I dont want to do the excersizes. It's just that 15 minutes is a long time for someone who is as heavy as I am and its embarassing to have my fat jiggle around for the whole freaking class to watch and laugh at. I would much prefer to excersize in PRIVACY where I dont have to worry about what I look like. High school is bad enough as it is. I think this is pure torture and I really want to refuse to do it. But I dont want to bring negative attention to myself. WHAT SHOULD I DO???? and what is your opinion on our new state law??
Its funny, how teachers will encourage us in excercise than in health. Don't know the difference? The difference between burning fat/ keep it off and burn fat/gain it back. They sell things that cause bad health, yet they give excercise. It's not properly handled

Anyway, I do have quite a bit of fat on my lower back, coming around to my higher hips so I have pretty big love handles and I look quite out of proportion.
I'm wondering if I can get rid of the fat with just cardio? I know cardio is what burns fat, which is why I'm asking, but with it being on my back would I need to do any other excersizes?
cardio helps a lot, so will kinetic excercise, try doing something that's comfortable, like belly dancing, it tightens the muscles, and gives you something to do, you don't have to be shakira, but ya got to be healthy
