well, i didnt know where to put thins, and i wasnt trying to be a smart-aleck with the subject. well my freind dicided to use me butterfly knife to put a hole in a wall, now my once glourious blade is now scratched up. anybody know how to polish metal?

I don't know of any way you can repair a damaged knife with normal equiptment that you would have. Your best bet, I think, would be to have it repaired. Maybe you should just have the blade replaced. Check the company that made the knife, maybe they'll cover the repair under warranty. If it was a custom-made knife, or if the manufacturer of the knife won't repair it, then ask the dealer, or look up a local custom knife shop.

I decided to ask you further, because you said you needed more information.
Well first off, from what I read what others said, it could be stress, because midterms are coming up and I've got a bunch of homework and projects. But I've been stressed before I've never had this kind of reaction.
It also could be winter skin, but I have tried washing with this soap from bath and body works, I think it's called. It's one of their shower gels. I've never had a problem with it before, so I don't really think it's an allergic reaction. and it's not like I wash my whole body with it, so that can't be it.
Winter is coming, but I'm in texas, and it's still 80 degrees outside and we don't use our heater really until like.. christmas day. Plus, I've never had this reaction before to heating my house so.. I don't know.
I don't have any rashes or anything, and my skin isn't flaking.. I'm just really really really itchy. I'd appreciate an answer other than try lotion, if you can think of any other options. *sigh* anyway.. thank you for reading this if you had, and I would really appreciate help. (link)

If everything you say is true and there's nothing that you left out, then I would say it must be a bacteria or fungus of some sort. Call your doctor, see what he says. I'm sure he can give you much better information than I can.

Very bad idea. Very very bad idea. Before you meet in person, spend much more time getting to know him. Talk to his friends, talk to his siblings, talk to his parents, talk on the phone, get pictures(multiple), get undeniable proof that he is exactly who he says he is before you even consider meeting him in person.

Okay so there is this girl in my class and let's call her Shaquanda. She is a black girl that think's she is tough and can beat everyone up and I mean I am 5'4 but I am pretti tough and I have never let anyone step on me before and trust me I will fight when time is nessecary well Shaquanda was being a real idiot with me today giving me attitude when I wasn't even talking to her so of course I gave her attitude back causing a huge commosion during class. This bickering went on throughout the class and to tell you the truth I never liked her and she never liked me. So after class the etacher talks to us and tell us to patch things up or something and I definetly am not gunna do that and sheisin't either but she has nerve to tell the teacher she wasn't giving me attitude because if I know Shaquanda that's the exact thing she was doing. I was about to plant my fist in her face right in front of the teach I mean how can someone lie like that. Oh it got me so mad. She was acting like a immature brat and I want to bust her face up!! lol (im not this evil) lol Well tell me what i should do!
- Oh and please I dont want to here that stupid stuff saying "just say sorry and everything will be alright" because I don't say sorry I don't path thing's up and knowing her she wouldn't either so just help me

Don't just confront and attack her, then you'll be the one who looks bad. This sounds like somebody who needs a good beating, but you shouldn't start the fight. Go on the defensive. Only respond, never lash out, let her build herself up and then start a fight with you, during which you can release your anger and she can learn a valuable lesson on when and when not to talk.

Only one way. Buck up. Face your problems with the realization that crying isn't gonna do anything except mess up your makeup. Medicine and a doctor are unnecessary and unhealthy. Your counselor doesn't care. Your parents wouldn't know how to help you except sending you to either of the aforementioned. All you can do is get tough.

Well, first step is running a virus scan. If it finds the virus, hopefully you can delete it, if you can, try running AIM, and hopefully the virus will be gone. If that doesn't work, try completely uninstalling and deleting the AIM program from your hard drive. Run another virus scan, then redownload and install. Run another scan and then try AIM to see if the virus is gone. If it's still there, you only have one choice that I know of to get rid of this virus.
If it's worth it to you, you'll have to format your hard drive. What this means, is you will be completely clearing all of your memory and pretty much starting back with a blank, clean system. If you know how to do this, then I'm sure you already know this and know all about what it does; if you don't know how to do this, you'll have to ask somebody, preferably somebody who has done it before many times and knows very well what they're doing.

Well, he's definitely flirting with you, and all you really have to do is be cute and happy and playful.
However, I'm going to ask for for men everywhere, please don't flirt with guys that are already attached. It's hard enough for some guys to STOP looking for girls, it's near impossible for them to deny one when they come looking for him. Unless if you want to break up their relationship, and have to deal with that, then I would suggest waiting until the relationship has taken its course.

I'm really interested in environmental science, especially anything to do with Oceanography. Except one tiny little problem: I live in Wisconsin. Now that's cool, because I can still study around the Great Lakes or work on other environmental aspects, but I'm a bit turned off by the job opportunities. Everyone I hear of who has a degree in some related field ends up working for the DNR or Water Resource Management. I don't want to do that. I really want to be involved in new research, in the purely scientific aspect of it. Does anyone know any career opportunities in the Environmental Science or Oceanographic fields that are NOT part of some government-run organization? Thanks in advance.

I don't know a lot on the subject, but I've looked into psychological fields, and hopefully I can help you a little. I think it's hard to find a good scientific organization of any kind that's not government run and funded, for the main reason that the cutting-edge science fields are very expensive to study and require large sums of money(from the government usually).
As I said, I don't have much knowledge in this area, but that is how it appears to me.

I would say the list is very good, so long as he's that kind of guy and it won't scare him. The picture book is a little more attached. If you think he could handle it, the picture book would be good though.
It sounds like a really good gift idea, but if he's not very romantic and sentimental then I wouldn't think he'd like it, it might scare him.

I'm 17/f and my boyfriend is 18/m and he doea not understand the meaning of time. He is constantly late to everything. And I mean everything! I used to put up with it (we've been dating for almost 2 years) but I just can't anymore.
About a week ago, my dad threw a party for his company and instead of going with my family, I went with my boyfriend. My family left for the patry and I left to his house. When I got there, HE WAS STILL ASLEEP! I got him up and he had to take a shower so he did that. About 30 min. later, his parents were leaving for the party and asked me if I wanted to ride with them. Of course I said no. My boyfriend and I ended up being an hour and half late to the party. My dad was really mad.
The next day, we were supposed to go to the mall at 2pm. Of course, he wasn't on time. It got to be about 3:00 when he finally got to my house. I told him that I didn't feel like going anymore and we got into this big fight about how he's always late.
How can I get him to understand that it's important to not olny me but to ohter people as well that he get's to where ever he's supposed to be the time he says he will? (link)

All you should have to do is tell him. I know that sounds like it won't help any, but if you let him know, then he'll be full aware that it really bothers you when he's late. If he understands this and still is late all the time, then you have bigger problems.
Once again, I know this sounds like it won't help any, but I have problems being on time too, and my girlfriend never said anything, but when she did, I got the message and realized I had to start getting ready earlier.

At this age, I don't see any real reason to tell them, especially since you're bi. If you get to a more definite age, and you're getting serious with another female, then you might want to tell them, but at this point, I don't think it'd be the best idea.

Making out is just an extended period of kissing. There are a thousand different techniques or ways of doing it, but to be simple, I'd just say massage his tongue with yours. That's really all there is to the kissing. Aside from that, just run your fingers through his hair if you can, or put your hand on his arm, or run your hands along his back or anything else to show him that you're into it. Hope I helped.

If you're attracted to females, you're either lesbian or bi, if you're attracted to men you're either straight or bi, if you're attracted to both, you're bi.
I don't think that the fact that you've decided not to date for a while could be the cause of you having sexual interests in other women.
