Is it safe to play the starbound game? They are still working on it, and that makes me nervous! Will it hurt my computer? It looks really fun, but I don't want to get in trouble. :( What would you do? (link)
|
Starbound is on Steam, currently for $14.99. I'm not sure what exactly your concerns are, but *I* am inclined to trust the content that I purchase from Steam:

I hope that helps.

Hey guys,
So I recently decided on selling some of my art as a hobby on Etsy. I've been doing a lot of research on how to go about it. Obviously, I would like to turn a profit to supplement my income and also have a reason to pursue my hobby. First, I would love ANY advice from seller or buyers. Second, I was wondering if I should make a nice collection of my art before I upload it on the site and if so how many? (link)
|
I'm not sure how helpful this is, but my one comment is this: be sure to protect your uploaded content, assuming that we're talking about images of any kind - photos, drawings, paintings, etc.
People are going to want to clearly see what you're offering, but with Photoshop and other tools, you don't want to give away your work. (unless you want to give away your work.)
You can restrict the images from download, put a watermark on them, keep the size to a minimum, etc. Maybe all of that...
Best of luck to you!

can anyone help me with my game im playing as aqau and i cant beat the boss in peter pan and its makeing me mad witch keyblade should i use (link)
|
If you Google the name of the game and "walkthrough" you can get good game information on just about any game out there.
I'm not at all familiar with this one, but I did a search for it and this seems like a good link. If you don't get what you're looking for, just adjust the search words. This is what I used: "walkthrough kingdom hearts birth by sleep aqua"
Try this site:

I have been crossdressing for a number of years now. Two years ago I started going out dressed female for the sole purpose of finding a guy that I could give oral sex to. This was and still is something that turns me on so much. Since that first time out I have given 6 guys oral sex. Four of these six guys were just a one time thing and the other two I did it for them multiple times. It dawned on me one day that while I love giving the guys oral sex while I was dressed female that there would be no way I could do that dressed as a guy. I have no idea why this is but a girl I know thinks that I may unknowingly want to be a female full time and that I should try to find a steady guy in my life and transition to a full time female. (link)
|
I like the replies that you've had so far and don't really have anything to add but this:
I'm concerned for your safety when I read that you present yourself as a female for sexual activities. Should the guy find out that you're male when he was assuming/expecting female, things could go bad very quickly. Very bad, very quickly.
Just be careful out there. I wish you peace and joy in life.

Hi, I made the foolish mistake of making a Paypal account and I will close it after this bull shit is done.
So recently, I made some purchases online and have a negative Paypal balace of $140. Some credit collecters called me saying I owe them the money and I said I'd pay them at the end of the month. I tried paying off Paypal but I spent too much (accidentally, plus I have other expenses always needed) before the full amount could reach the account but they sent it back. And now I got a letter saying I need to pay this credit bureau $134 by a certain date. I can pay it no problem but what I want to know is, what will happen to my Paypal when I pay the credit bureau? Will the negative balance still be the same or will it be fixed? Please let me know. The sooner I do, the faster I can close my Paypal for good. (link)
|
This seems obvious, but you don't specifically mention that you did it: CONTACT PAYPAL!
Talk with them and make arrangements to pay off what you owe, and discuss the situation with the collection agency.

For some reason I was surfing and checked to see what was written about Ray Marcois and the kennel he owned when he died..........WHERE IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET THE INFO THAT HE AND DIANE WERE SHOT TO DEATH?????
Ray and I were married for a few years and he and I acquired Mandelyn Kennels from the prior owners during the time of our marriage. Diane was a friend of ours - and continued to remain a friend of mine after Ray and I split up - and for quite awhile after Ray died OF A HEART ATTACK while out on the training field talking to his head trainer Tony Barios. Ray was giving Tony instructions on what was to be taken care of while he was at the Air Force Base in Texas to work with handlers and canines. Ray was dead before the ambulance arrived arrived!!!! NO SHOOTING INVOLVED IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.....and his wife Diane was still alive the last time she and I talked several months later.
Please let me know - and better yet, inform your "source" that he/she was WRONG/WRONG/WRONG. Ray was too good a man to have this stupid incorrect information on the net.
(link)
|
Time goes by and I haven't logged in here for a while, obviously.
I'm iffy on the details, but I kept in touch with one of the students for a while after we graduated from the trainer's school.
It's been years, 1978, I guess. I think the story was something about a son / stepson / adopted son that went nuts and shot them.
I'm sorry for this post. I assumed it was true, who would make up something like this or get the details of a heart attack so horribly wrong.

i did something stupid. i estimated my income of last year from my job on my fafsa because i did my fafsa form last minute and i've never received a income form. how bad is that? i asked several people what i should do before i had done it. am i going to be in some sort of trouble for that? it is the government that i'm dealing with. (link)
|
Try to get rich as soon as possible, then you can do whatever you want as long as you pay off the right government officials. /rant off
OK, you might get away with it and nobody would know, (except for you), but it's my humble opinion that your course of action should be to contact them and explain that you need to make a correction. Acting without conscience is something best left to the politicians.
I hope that helps with your moral dilemma.

I want to know because im 17 and i in love with a girl but im a girl how do i ask her to have sex with me?please tell me (link)
|
It is ABSOLUTELY ok to be who you are, in the same way that it's ok for that person to have brown hair and the person over there to have blonde hair. It's all compliments of our genetic coding.
On the sex thing, in my humble (and old) opinion, friends first, sex later. Unless you're just looking for a meaningless sex-up, in which case all bets are off, I guess.
My sincere best wishes. In this and all things, just be yourself - be true to yourself and you'll be ever so much happier.

i am doing md in community medicine . i can t able to handle the rude senior person in my work place.when they make criticism on me i feel like crying.i m 24 years old.i am away from home.i have no friends here.there is no interest in my life. morning wakeup, then job, then home watching tv,studying sleep then next day and continues.i am feeling self pity because there is no recognition for me in my work place. i feel that there is no approval for me because my friends are doing md /ms in clinical subjects ,this make me self pity .i am from india .need advice (link)
|
Well, first, you should be proud of yourself for wanting to work in community medicine and help the people who probably need it the most. We need more people like you!
I can certainly understand how you feel. You don't specifically mention it, but I would assume that added to what you've written, you're probably also fatigued.
I wonder if you might have a way to contact friends or family back in India? Skype is a fairly inexpensive way to call overseas, there may be others that I don't know about.
It seems to me as though you just need to be around other people, or at least be able to speak with others, even if only by phone. How about community centers or other places where people of your age are likely to gather? The library seems like it would be a good place for an educated person such as yourself - you're likely to meet other other people who, at the very least, like to read... and that's a start.
I work for a large insurance company that has off-shore consultants come in from India. They stay locally for a while and then go back to India and others come in to take their turn, I guess.
I don't really know all the details, but I think that it's common for them to share housing and we often see them going places as a group. I'm not sure if something like might be available to you, but it seems like it would be something worth investigating. I'm thinking that there might be other people that are in the same situation and would appreciate having you for a friend to talk to. Maybe people from India, but also just other students from anywhere who are feeling lonely. I promise that you're not the only one.
I know that it's easy for me to say, but keep your eye on your final goal. Being a healer is one of the most noble aspirations that a person can have. There are going to be good and bad people as we make our way though life; try to focus on and remember the good and forget the bad.
I'm sorry that you're in this situation, but wish you all the best and hope that it works out soon for you.

I hit the iner side of my knee on my steps and im having trouble bending it all the way. I can walk and put weight on it with no pain but if I try to bend it to walk up or down steps there is pain. I can only bend it about half the way as normal. Its been over a week like this. Is there anything I can do at home? I have no haelth insurence and cant take time off work. what are the poosible things that could be wrong with my knee? thanx (link)
|
I'm almost 60 and had both knees replaced, (TKR), in 2008.
You can put up with stuff for a while. Ice, ibuprofen and rest can help. Since, though, you only have the two knees and pretty much need them both, you really should do what you can to have them evaluated by a health care professional.
Many areas have free clinics, the hospitals in your area may have programs available to help in situations such as this...
Bad knees are no fun, I wish you all the best and hope that this is resolved for you soon.

im a book addict, literally.
ok so i got a kindle last year on my b-day and it broke, because i had it on my bookshelf with it tilting so it would not fall. well, i had put my 8-ball (like the one used for pool) next to it and i think i either moved it the slidest bit or shoke the bookshelf and it fell and landed on my 8-ball, and i heard a crack and checked it, it was un damaged.
since i had it of my bookshelf i figured i would read it well when turned it on it showed the cracks and i freaked out.
im just wondering how to break it to her because if i tell her the screen broke she would blame it all on me. if i tell her the truth she wont beleive me.
any advise will be very thankful!!

I've found Amazon to be an absolutely fantastic company to deal with. It seems like a long-shot, but you have nothing to lose...
Email or call their customer service and explain the situation. If you're lucky, they may do something for you. Replace it, discount on new one... who knows.
First, though, please make sure to back up all your books and do it right away!
Good luck with this, I hope that it works out for you.

Is God only a pure and loving God who does positive things in our life when we trust in Him and give Him our lives?
I have very bad anxiety. I've seen therapists and have taken pills for it, but it affects my relationship with God greatly because, I've always been scared of life-threatening illnesses or disfigurements... or something just happening to me that will keep me from finding love or being married... or just being able to live my life to its fullest.
I'm scared that if I trust God and hand my life over to Him that something along those lines will be His plan for me.
Does God hurt people like that? The people I see in wheelchairs... or the people burned on over 90% of their body... is that the work of God? Or the devil? Or... humans...?
Is God only responsible for the good and pure? Or does he cause harm as punishment? Or... because it's someone's plan?
I'm very scared of this. Every day I am scared.
I want to be able to love and trust God fully... but I need to know that he won't hurt me like this if I trust him.
Why do terrible things happen to good, God-fearing Christians? What causes that?
Thank you. (link)
|
I'll have to say that I'm currently agnostic, but was raised strongly protestant and bible based.
Without preaching a sermon here, I think that it all boils down to free will. There are arguments for and against, but my feeling is that God generally doesn't act for or against us.
Yeah, miracles and prayer, etc., but basically since the Garden of Eden, I think that we're responsible for the direction of our lives and what happens, happens.
As you mentioned, terrible things happening to people, but also people being cured unexpectedly of disease or illness, etc. Again, I think it's all a matter of living your life as best you can, following His path as best you can and accepting what comes as nothing more than randomly occurring events.

I'm talking to someone new (dude), What do I talk about? We don't really now anything about each other? So, what can I say to not mess it up? & how can I like flirt a little, but not to direct..? (link)
|
I had actually just written something along these lines in another post...
People, to one degree or another, like to talk about themselves and their interests and such. Not in a conceited, "it's all about me" kind of way, just general thoughts.
I would suggest anything that would encourage that, which will also help you to get to know the person better. It's easier if situational, but you can just randomly throw out the questions, too.
What do you like to do? Ahhh, fishing. What kind of fishing, ocean or fresh water? Do you have a certain type of fish that you like to catch? Stuff like that.
What do you like to do in your spare time? Motorcycle enduro, wow, tell me more about that?
What kind of music do you like? Ah, old school rock. What are your favorite bands? Favorite songs?
You don't mention age, but I assume that you're in school. If the same school, maybe something like favorite teacher, best subject, the endless student assembly or other common events that were either good or bad and might spark conversation, etc.
I hope that helps!

So the guy finally asked me out (link)
|
As was already said, be yourself. He asked you out because he saw something in you that he likes and wants to get to know you better.
You already have a head start. You're not two strangers trying to figure out how to even talk to each other - he's asked you out, he wants to be with you.
Although I know that this probably won't seem helpful, it IS the situation: just give it a little time. You're nervous because this means something to you and if it means something to you, that will come across. And that's a good thing.
I would imagine that girls generally have all this social stuff down, but remember that everybody like to talk about themselves to some degree. Not in a conceited, "it's all about me" kind of way, but just general stuff.
You might ask the guy what he likes to do. Ah, motorcycle enduros, tell me more about that... stuff like that.
I can easily understand your feelings. I got myself all psyched up to drive over to a girls house and ask her out for a date. We had talked a little here and there, but nothing significant.
I must have used half a tank of gas driving toward her house, chickening out, getting psyched up to do it, chickening out again, etc.
Eventually, I drove into her driveway and, thank goodness, SHE answered the door. I asked her out on the date, she said yes, I said great and I turned around and left. (Grin)
That girl and I will celebrate our 35th anniversary this August!
Best of luck!

Every time I click on something on my computer a thing pops up saying:"Please choose the program you want to open with this file". It has adobe reader, internet explorer, quicktime & itunes, when I click on any of them, something pops up saying "view your downloads" , we can't download anything. It says that the program I need to download might not be on the computer? I'm using windows xp. Evertime I clock on any program in my computer something pops up saying "choose what program you want to open this with." or I might not have the right program. I can't get on windows media player, control panel, adobe reader, etc. I can't download or anything. What is wrong? How can I fix this?
Please help me!!! I can't download anything on my computer and I don't know why. (link)
|
You can repair file associations one by one, or using a script but in a situation such as yours where things have gotten to the state you describe, I believe that doing that would be an inefficient bandaid. (You can Google something like "windows xp repair file associations" if you're interested.)
Something "larger" than a few simple forgotten file types is going on here, I think. I think, though, that you may be able to resolve this without too much trouble.
- Windows XP has a system restore feature, so you should have restore points available at a time when your computer was ok. Try the following:
Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore and find and use a restore point when the computer was working as it should.
- I would wonder if the problem is specific to your user account, (profile.) If your computer has more than one user account setup, try logging into another account to see if the problem is specific to a certain profile.
If you do NOT have any other accounts configured, you might try creating one and using that to test. Again, you'd be doing this to see if the problem is related to a specific user profile.
- You might try some of the free online scanners to see if something along of the lines of a trojan or malware is the issue:

My computer is missing a lot of programs that we used to have. It won't download anything and I can't access any of the programs I have on my computer. Will it work if I wipe out my computer & re-install windows vista? (link)
|
That would be one approach, assuming that you have a restore disk or the Vista OS disk. It would almost certainly resolve the issues.
It should be considered a last-resort measure, unless you're comfortable with the entire process of a format and reinstallation, which must first include a thorough backup of your personal stuff.
NOTE that you would have to back up a number of things. All your user-created data, such as documents, email contacts, music, videos, etc., etc.
It's hard to be specific based on your limited description of the problem, but from what you've said, I'd would suggest that you visit a few of the online virus scanners and run them to see if you have something of a malware / trojan nature going on.
- Vista has a system restore feature available that may be able to restore your computer back to a time when it was working the way it should.
Click the Start button, and just enter in "restore" and choose System Restore. Work your way through the windows and be sure to choose a time when the computer was working as expected.
- If your computer has more than one user account setup, try logging into another account to see if the problem is specific to a certain profile.
If you do NOT have any other accounts configured, you might try creating one and using that to test. Again, you'd be doing this to see if the problem is related to a specific user profile.

I plan on eating healthy and working out.
I'm 5'5" and 145 pounds (link)

It sounds as though you might have a specific weight loss goal to be accomplished within a specfic time.
Eating healthy and working out is the way to do it, but I'd be surprised if you could lose 15-20 pounds in a single month, unless you REALLY pushed hard in your workouts and significantly reduced your caloric intake.
There are diets such as Atkins that can't be maintained and are bad for you long-term, but you will pretty easily lose 20 or more in a month if you stick to it.
To be successful, you have to find a plan that works for you. You want to able to maintain the diet without craving foods or feeling deprived. Sooner or later that will lead to a binge.
It can also be a collection of simple things that add up to weight loss. If you like ice cream (who doesn't!?) have non-fat yogurt or Lite / Fat Free instead of regular. They have some great flavors.
Instead of a burger, have ground turkey, a chicken breast or tuna instead. Things like this go a long way toward helping you re-define your body.
Best of luck!

Hi!
I'm 13 and I have my eye teeth missing due to removal and there's two big gaps where they should grow in. Does it make me unattractive to girls? I also have braces, and my smile looks stupid. Any help appreciated! (link)
|
We can all be pretty hard on ourselves; guys are no different from girls in this respect. I can't imagine that your smile actually does look "stupid." Perhaps different from what you'd prefer, but give yourself a break.
Personality will always carry the day. Someone who DOESN'T smile would probably be unattractive to many (most) people, girls included, so step up and be yourself.
I'm not an idiot, I know that this is easier said than done. Just hang in there and you'll be fine. Every day, day by day, things will change and you'll eventually look back on this time and wonder what all the fuss was about.
Best of luck.
