regarding fafsa form

Question Posted Monday July 9 2012, 2:26 pm

i did something stupid. i estimated my income of last year from my job on my fafsa because i did my fafsa form last minute and i've never received a income form. how bad is that? i asked several people what i should do before i had done it. am i going to be in some sort of trouble for that? it is the government that i'm dealing with.

Try to get rich as soon as possible, then you can do whatever you want as long as you pay off the right government officials. /rant off

OK, you might get away with it and nobody would know, (except for you), but it's my humble opinion that your course of action should be to contact them and explain that you need to make a correction. Acting without conscience is something best left to the politicians.

I hope that helps with your moral dilemma.
