Well I think you should do it because I'm pretty sure they make a good amount of money. & if your in magazines you'll get your face around and for all you no a movie producer could see you picture and next thing you no you could be getting phone calls to be in a movie. & as far as boosting your confidence you should just be yourself and if your not that social maybe you should start talking to more people and that will make you be less shy. earlier today my computer randomly shut down while my itunes was opened & whenever i started my computer back up, i kept getting this notice about itunes not being able to run.
so when i opened my itunes, everything was gone. all my music, pictures, and playlists.
so i restarted my computer again, and got this system notice that i needed to run a disk check. so i did & it gave me an error message saying that my itunes was deleting.
when my computer loaded fully, nothing had changed, except my music & everything was still not on my itunes.
the music/pictures are still on my computer but no longer on itunes.
i don't know how to restore everything.
& if i plug my ipod into the computer will i lose everything on it? or will it restore it to intunes?

Well this happend to me because I deleted some folders off my computer. Once you plug your ipod into your computer it will say something about transfering your purchases or erase and sync. If you click the transfer one then all the songs your bought off itunes will go back onto your computer but all the other ones will delete or if you want to just start over from scratch hit erase and sync. And my pictures stayed on my ipod but that might be because I didn't delete my picture folder. So your pictures wil probably delete. I think you should just transfrer the songs you bought back onto you ipod and then start back from scratch after that. Hope all goes well because I would be lost without my ipod. Goodluck.

My friend moved this year to a big new school far away. Now we feel like we are losing her. She's changed. She tells me how shes been getting drunk and stuff. She always brags about her friends. She's listnening to bad music. We were on her top friends list on myspace for the first day now we are at the bottom. Now, when we talk it's like two sentences and we stop talking. Shes 14. i think you should let her know how you feel , and tell her that you feel like you loosing her and that you guys had a great friendship and just becuase she moved its ruining it. Maybe you should say something the next time she says she got drunk like "oh thats the cool thing to do over there" or something nd maybe she'll realize shes not being herself and maybe if you keep talking to her like that and make her feel like you dont need her ; she'll realize that she needs you.

I'm in my 20s. She said she was 20 and is actually 18 and a senior in high school.
Those are the very basic facts.
Now, I'm the kind of person who lying is a big deal to me. Trust overall is a big deal. And people who violate that... lets just say that I may not bring it up, but I will remember this.
I like her. I like spending time with her. But I dont know if I should heed the giant warning sign that is finding out she's still a high school chick (and lying about it) and walk now.
Shes not the only woman I'm seeing at the moment. And no, she doesnt know that.

I think if you liked her before you knew she was 18 and in highschool then you should still like her now ,because age really doesnt matter if you like the person , she may have lied about her age but she proablly just did that becuase she knew that you wouldnt give her a chance if she told you she was 18 and still in highschool.so i think you should keep going for it and see how things end up . goodluck.

Long story short, where I live you have to give this important speech at the beginning of your senior year.
I "gave" mine 2 days ago. I put the gave in quotations marks since I didnt follow it through. I started it, but messed up somewhere in the middle, started crying, and left the classroom, and then skipped the rest of the classes that day.
My teacher told me I'll get a new chance to do it this week. I will die. Same speech, same audience. They've all probably been talking about me and how humiliating that was.
The moral of the speech was that the more you believe in your dreams the more like reality they become.
I was wondering if there's any way to turn this into something positive (or atleast LESS embarrassing) by including that little awful preformance in my speech somehow?
OR is there something funny I could say at the introduction of the speech (to make the fact that I'll be repeating that same beginning of the speech less horrible) ??

i think you'll be fine either way but ; maybe you should add something at the beginning of your speech like "we all make mistakes & we all have bad days but if you put your mind to it you'll be able to acheive all your goals and dreams ; its ok if you mess up as long as you get back up and try again because if you dont you'll just end up disappointing yourself " or something along the lines of that. good luck and keep thinking positvie becuase im sure you'll do great!!

i bought this dress over the summer and i've lost all of this weight to fit into my size 2 dress. it's the cutest dress ever. it's champagne color and baby pink with a big bow in the front. Of course, my mother doesn't like the dress, because her and I can never agree on something to wear. I'm 16 years old and I don't think I need her approval to wear this dress. it's the most descent dress in the world... it's not like slutty or anything. But, it was more than a dress for me. It's the first time that I'm going to come out of my shell since August. I've been very sad because a lot of people have done things to me, and i haven't been myself. But, I wanted to show myself to the world with this dress because it's who i am. It really represents my personality and it's really me. Yesturday, we went shopping for jewelry, and she ends up buying a whole new dress. I argued with her all of yesturday because I didn't like the jewelry she was picking for the original dress, so I really don't want to talk to her about this because it will instigate another argument and arguments with my mother get me very upset. i really want to try to avoid that. She event old me that when we got home, she didn't want me to tell her that I was wearing the other dress. The other dress was from the spring collection, but it looks kind of Christmassy because of the bow it has in the front. How can I tell her nicely? Because the dress she got me is really nice and everything, but it's not me. I don't want to go with smokey eyes and crazy hair. I want soft curls and light make-up. Why can't she just understand that and let me wear the dress that I want? Please help me..... and please just don't say "talk to her." I need to know what to tell her because she screams at every little thing I say because she's like int he middle of menopause... it's like EVERYTHING has to be her way, and this is MY formal. It's not hers. Please help me!!

ok i think i understand what your saying ; what i think you should tell your mother is that you want to be your own person and your growing up and that she cant keep dressing you because you have your own personality and your own style now that your growing up and you dont want to be dissapointed and miserable at formal like you were before ; ask her if thats how she wants you to fail because i dont think its fair that she chooses what you were ; just tell her how you truly feel ; hopefully i helped you a little ; good luckk && stay happy lOl =]

I need to get my bgf a really good gift and we are really close if you know what i mean. But he can't date. We will probably date later so it's pretty much a gift for a boyfriend. Anyway he loves hockey and the Penguins and totally loves Sidney Crosby if that helps. He loves the Steelers too and the Pens. But im a girl and not into sports and dont know what to get him! He likes video games too but i dont know what he has or would want. I could get him a giftcard but i want it to be personal. But not cologne. Your deffinatly not doing anything wrong, i think the guys is just a complete jerk and he probably has the wrong idea of why you want to talk to him (he proably thinks you like him) so what i think you should do is if you see him around go up to him and ask him why he's so rude when all your trying to do is talk to him and nothing more.

please help me with my question i promise I will rate anyone who does.
My bf and I have been goin out for a little over over a month, and recentaly, this other guy, kenny, hugged me, it wasn't in a i like you kind of way tho, he only hugged me because my friend steph was suppose to buy him lunch, but she didn't have enough money, so I told him I would, and thats why he hugged me, he also has a gf, well my bf say him hug me and I told him it was nothing, but he told his friend (also my freind) derek, and derek told me taht he said that he felt cheated on, and our convo later that night was tense becasue we talked about what happened at lunch, before he left, I told him that I loved him and he didn't say anything back.
We are no longer on the kenny page and have moved on the next day, but then derek told me that he told him that if something like this happened again he would brake up with me cause it hurt him to much. Well, I told my friend Steph that I promised my bf that I wouldn't eat with them anymore because of kenny, becasue I don't want to lose my bf, but i like sitting with her, she is one of my best friends, and lunch is really the on'y time I have to talk to her. What do you think I should do about all of this? I want to keep my bf but I also want to eat lunch with my friends, help...
Oh and I am also 13/f if that helps at all, and don't tell me that I am to young to fall in love because there is no age limit on it.

I think you should tell your bf that the hug meant nothing you were just trying to be friendly ; and that you want to sit with your friend at lunch ; and that he has to trust you when you say you love him ; and dont let a little hug ruin a great relationship

theres this guy in my school who i liked last year, and he liked me back but we never went out. I like him again this year but idk if he still likes me. hes pretty shy so i know he wont just ask me out unless he knew for sure i liked him. He always IMs me and one time his friend kept asking me if i liked him. I dont him to feel awkward if i liek him, but i cant tell if he likes me. hes not friends with any of my friends because hes in 11th grade and im in 10th. i think you should talk to his friend and then next time his friend asks if you like the guy then you should say "why,does he like me or something" and you should see what his friend says ; and hopefully everything will work out for the best =] goodluckkk

Everything has gone wrong now!
Ok if you havent read my question titled "Another guy {last one lol}" then this wont make since but the guy i said i like, well him and the cheerleader broke up they just werent meant to be, and i have liked him for about a year and a half now and i havent told anyone not even my bffs and he has liked me um..going on 3 years now, well i actually told my friends i like him and they were all exited for me and everything and i actually told him and well turns out he had a girlfriend that i didnt know about, and well i told him i said look i know you prob dont like me anymore bc i turned you down last year but i really really like you and there is no one i would rather be with and he said truth is i like you still a whole lot and i would trade any girl in the world for you, well he told me when something happened between him and his gf he would definately ask me out after he got over the breakup..well turns out he broke up with her and didnt even tell me and now he is going out with someone else! and after all of this my heart is broken i want to give up but everyone thinks i should keep trying..what should i do?

have you confronted him about that ? i think you should tell him how you feel once more and tell him if he doesnt want to be with you then to stop telling you he likes you ; i think you should try and move on too ; so that you can make him jealous and he'll realize that he really does like you =]

Ok, before I ask I'm not asking if I'm fat and no I don't wanna go on a crash diet because all these girl at school are super skinny. I just wanted to know if I was normal weight. I'm 15 years old, 5'5" and i way about 130... so is that ok (normal)? I also play sports in the winter so if i am just a bit out of sorts would that help me?

So me and this kid from a different town started going out 4 weeks ago. we dont really see eachother that much. maybe like twice a week. but ive known him pretty much forever. Anyways so we broke up because i just had a lot going out and i kinda lost feelings for him. Than i found out while we were going out that he hooked up with someone at homecoming. Which he said to my face that he wouldnt do. When i asked him about it he pretty much didnt care and told me to drop it. Than i saw him the other night and he came up to me and said sorry and i hope we can get back together. he told my bestfriend he still "loves" me and stuff. So that night i texted him [we dont talk on the phone that much because i dont ever have service] and we talked a little. but he hasnt texted me since, and i dont want to be annoying about it. But he said he wanted to get back together. What should i do? I still like him and everything.
