I am trying out for the Poms team at my school. Tryouts are on Saturday, March 17th. There are tryout clinics the 14th, 15th, and 16th. Those are just to learn what is expected at tryouts. Anyways, I have to have my right and left splits down for one of the requirements, but it turns out they check your splits on the 14th instead of the actual tryout day, which I wasn't aware of until yesterday. I am extremely close, and I can go all the way down, but my back knee is kind of bent. I want to make the team so bad! Any advice on how to get better at my splits in a short time? I stretch a lot and try to go further every day. Please help!!! Thanks so much! I honestly would love to hear anything at all that you think might help :]
make sure your squaring your hips. i know that helped with mine. my back leg was slighty bent but my hips werent squared, once i learned how to do that the knee problem went away. good luck. and ALWAYS stretch. i stretch for like 3 hours a day. an hour before bed. a half hour before schoo. an hour and a half after school. but good luck. hope i helped (:

What do you guys think the best cell phone provider is? I'm on verizon right now & it has good service, but I've had nothing but problems with my phone. It needs a new battery a lot. And not only that, my dad has had problems with verizon. They said I ran up 900 text messages in a month, and I rarely use it. Anyways, I've had my phone for two years and next week I'm supposed to get a new one. My dad said he was going to take us off there and go somewhere else. So I was wondering what everyone thought the best one was. The ones I'm looking into are t-mobile, boost, and amp'd, but any other providers would be good. Oh & if it helps, I'd like to keep my phone number. Thanks!
well. heres a couple things i would take into consideration
1. you need to know some cell companys charge way to much.
2. tmobile told my sister she owed 500 some odd dollars when she had a texting plan or something and thats all she did. she even worked for them and they were doing that. so she had to eventually quit.
3. i know virgin mobile isnt in your list. but i have them do not get them. their a pay-as-you-go company. i had 15 dollars on my phone , and i rarely use it. and now i have 2 dollars! all i use is text messageing. which i have pennie texting. so yah, i wouldnt get virgin mobile.
4. make sure your not breaking contract. you might have had a 2+ year(s) contract and you could break it and legally be in trouble.
5. before you go out and buy a phone of which has a contract find out friends who have that cell phone company. make sure their happy with it. you dont wanna get a phone and find out it sucks and be stuck with it for 2+ year(s)
6. make sure its a good phone with good graphics.i know they dont seem important but when i use peoples phone with bad graphics or their hard to understand i personally feel like throwing their phone on the floor and jumping on it.
My best friend will be leaving the country for good in 3 months. She will have her bday here sometime before that. Anyway, I want to give her the perfect bday/goodbye present. I have come to the point where I cant write, concentrate, derive pleasure from anything, have difficulty remembering things, have blurred vision, eyes seriously hurt, sometimes have severe headaches, most of the time dont know what I am talking especially with my elder brother. We were talking about our secrets and I didn't really have any, so they started saying there's. After saying a few, one of them asked the other if they could tell me "the secret." She started freaking out and was saying how I would think she was a freak and stuff. They finally told me and the secret was that they used to cut themselves. I feel so bad because I didn't know about it, so I couldn't help them in any way. One of them is extremely sensitive and the guy who caused her to start doing that is moving into her neighborhood, so it's possible she could continue cutting. If she does, what are some signs? I know like wearing long sleeve shirts all the time and stuff, but are there any others? Like just the way they act or something?
hi. i used to cut so i can really help you with this one. signs are stuff like : after something bad happens they kind of dissaper for a while , always hiding wrists , youll find razors and anything sharp in their room , maybe with some blood. , they kinda bounce back from bad things faster. those are the most common if you need more feel FREE to ask me seriously. his mom probably gave him the condoms for that just in case thing , you know how parents are all "its better to be safe than sorry" thats probably whats shes doing, and making out on the couch eh. not a huge deal to be honest. i mean i dont like to PDA personaly but its your choice. and dont absolutly have sex until you are personally ready, and so is your partner.

so i am going to sound rediculous, and this may be long, i appologize. but i am in a strong need of advice and this is the only place i can turn to without a biased opinion now.
i went out with this guy zach. he was really sweet but kind of immature. but i really liked being with him b/c he understood me like no other person ever has, he was a good boyfriend. well his immaturity got to me and i broke up with him, but we both thought it was only temporary, i know this.
we never stopped being best friends though, the day after we broke up it still didnt feel wierd. its a little bit mroe distant but that was my choice after this happened...
2 weeks later we were talking bout getting back together and we were flirty and he told me how much he loved me. well i have history with this girl in my school, we were friends and we got in a fight b/c she didnt get invited to my party [yea immature little fight that teenage girls get into, i know i was wrong but we all grow up] and instead of just being catty like any other teenage girl she went to the shcool and told them my dad beats me, i had bruises form volleyball but no my family is fine i never told her this she was just trying to cause drama. me and my sister almost got taken out of our house by social services, she thought this was funny. well her name is kelly.
and at this party zach was all over kelly they were cuddling in the bed, fell asleep together, and flirting alllllll night and every1 there [even he admits] that they were acting like boyfriend and girlfriend. this really hurt my feelings b/c it wasnt just any girl, which i would have been upset but not say anything, but he knows what she did to me and he was the one i was crying in the arms of when social services told me and my sister we were going to be taken into foster homes [they didnt b/c lack of evidence, me and my siste rof course denied everything]
it felt liek he betrayed me... i tried to mention it but all he said was "im not replacing you with kelly" and i told him it was about alot mroe than that, he will just make me feel like im being over jealous.
today he asked me out again, he did that with kelly last sunday. i told him im gonna have to think bout it, that hurt me but we are great together. he gets me more than anybody and i love hanging out with him but the kelly thing will always bother me =/
ONE MORE ISSUE, i dnt have alot of time... there is this guy Matt that is the sweetest guy ever. he likes me soo much and i liekd being with him, he makes me feel really good. he's friends with my friends and really the perfect personality but im not sure he knows me at all... he likes me but i feel liek if i let out my crazy side or my temper gets the ebst fo me he will not expect it and think of me differantly

it sounds like your friend Zach is torn between two. he doesnt know whos more important. you saw how they act. you obviously care about zach more than matt, matt sounds less like a player though. so it depends on your type of guy.
I have no friends. It would be impossible to try and tell me to "try and make some friends." Because I've been trying for years. I've been part of so many groups of friends, but sooner or later they've done something horrible to me, so I change groups of friends. Now, there is noone left in the school that I haven't tried to be friends with. I hate Lunch. Because I'm thin, the people at my table call me anorexic. And I just find people in general, EVERYONE is annoying to me. So lately I've been eating in the bathroom because thats how much I hate everyone. I also eat in the bathroom and skip my classes and sit in the bathroom because somehow, in every single one of my classes, I sit next to someone who's sick, and I don't want to get sick because a.) whowants to be sick? b.) my mom won't let me stay home if I get sick and c.) I can't work out.
But thats only half of my problem. Today I came home and I started to talk to my mom about my problems at school, like usual. But then she flipped out and yelled, "Stop complaining! Maybe you should just kill yourself because thats the only solution!" And THEN she took away the thing I love most- my exercise bike. She said that I can only work out 1 hour a day every OTHER day. (For no apparent reason.) It may sound weird, but I love to work out. I live for it. It gives me self confidence, and its one of my only hobbies.
I have been depressed, and I've thought of killing myself before. But now that my mom actually sugguested that I should kill myself, it makes me feel even worse. Especially since I'm being punished (exercise bike being taken away) just for being depressed. Is there any advice you can give me to help me make it through?
P.S. Do not sugguest that I see a therapist, or I will rate you a 1. My mom would probably hit me across the face and ground me for 10 years if I even mentioned the idea of getting professional help. Also we can't afford it.
