Q: Hey. I just met two of my good friends from school this year. They're both really nice. Lets just say their names are Jody and Samantha. The problem is that Samantha always likes to make fun of Jody. She's only joking around because I know she really likes Jody a lot but I can tell it bothers Jody. Samantha doesn't really notice it bothers her because she thinks that it's all in good fun. I don't know why she doesn't do it to me too but she doesn't, and they met eachother a few weeks before I met them. At first they both used to make fun of eachother (you know stupid jokes) but now I can tell Jody really doesn't like it. Samantha always includes me in this when she's joking on Jody and she'll always be like "Lori look at Jody" and laugh or she'll pretend to whisper something. It looks like I'm involved whenever she does this. Then, Jody will ask me what she said later and since it's so stupid I just tell her but then say something like "but she was only kidding". Then Jody will go and say to Samantha "Lori told me what you said" and it looks like I'm starting trouble. But if I don't laugh at Samantha it will look like I'm some uptight wierdo even though Jody doesn't like it. And like I said I know that when they are having a normal convo, they're the best of friends so Samantha's not doing it to purposely be cruel. Does anyone have any ideas so that I'm not always stuck in the middle or so that I look like I'm always siding with one of them? I really like them both and I feel bad when this happens. i think you should talk to them. sit them down, and ask jody if it bothers her. if it says yes, just tell samantha that you could tell it did, and you always feel like you`re caught in the middle. ask samantha to try not to make the little joke and stuff anymore.

well, for every class you have a c in, the college you go to will make you make it up, if they accept you. &it will cost YOU money. &this is only if they accept you. most colleges won`t accept students with many c`s. luckily, it`s only freshman year, &some colleges (such as cal state fullerton) don`t really look at freshman year grades, but i suggest you get a tutor.

Q: My dad has a huge anger issue! He always yells at me, even when I have done nothing wrong. He'll tell me I am not smart, wise, or I can never shut up and stop complaining. He is always throwing my school books around, even when it is not in his way, and makes me pick it up. He doesn't do that to anyone elses stuff. He throws shoes at me, hits me, and throws anywhere from pencils to hardbound books to me, whenever I ask him how to do a math problem.
Also when I prove him wrong, he gets mad and denies he even is wrong, and storms out of the room, snapping at everyone he sees. He even gets mad when I get a boyfriend. He thinks I am a total slut and he doesn't trust me because I took my ex (was my boyfriend) to my room once(while my friends were there with me!) thinking I would have sex with him (and I am a virgin!!!) on my bed. This angers me because my friends have gotten laid mass times and their parents trust them to go to their rooms with their boyfriend or girlfriend.
He yells at me when my grades aren't good enough. I am getting As and Bs this year but my dad doesn't think it's good enough. He always discourages me when I want to do something, and he stresses me so much I cry. And when I cry, he gets angry and calls me a big baby. He hurts me so horribly bad I just start thinking of not living, because he makes me feel worthless =[
What can I do???

well, you should talk to him. ask him what his deal is. ask him why the only words that come out of his mouth are when he`s saying something bad to/about you. ask him why the only times he moves is to throw stuff at you or hit you. talk to siblings/your mom/your grandparents about it. just see what`s up. you need to figure this out. &you`re not worthless. "no one can make you feel inferior without your consent." remember that. if i were in you position, i probably would of snapped by now. haha. well, i hope this helped. &i hope you work it out.

Q: ok well this story is kinda long so i apologize. anyways well this guy and i were getting along great together. it started in my art class when i didnt even know he existed but he was aware of me. he would try to talk to me and i would but i wouldnt be crazy about it. but then he started to grow on me. and i started to like him. so i would talk to him he would talk to me, he would tease me, play with me, walk to class with me, actually walk with me alot, stare at me, and he did this thing where he would always ask me to do favors for him and i would smile and kinda soft yell thing and said no and so he kept doing that and it would be like, "can you get my shoes or books?" ect and then one day in the lunch line he asked me for another favor and i thought maybe you should say yes and i said yes and he said nevrmind and im like what tell me and he told me he just wanted to see me mad. so this went on for a while untill one day all of a sudden he stopped talking to me. ignored me and everything. he walked with me to class but as we were walking it was just silence and we would always be talking about something. i would try to talk to him and hed ignore me and i didnt know what was up. so i tried to plan what i was gonna do with him everyday to try to get things back to normal but they didnt work. so i said i give up and gave up on him. and so i wanted to get over him really bad because i was feeling pain becuz i missed everything we would do. so i thougt the best thing to do was to get mad at him. so here and there he talks to me but i ignore him or talk in a mean tone. but today which kinda shocked me he started flirting with me a little bit. he was blocking me from going up the stairs and i was happy but i didnt show any smiling. my emotion was kinda like leave me alone i dont wanna be bothered with anyone right now. ok so here is the whole question. am i doing the right thing or should i start being nice to him letting this being a wake upcall telling me there is still hope? or should i keep being mean to him??? and why do you think he stopped all of this?? that someone heard my best friend and i talking and told him. and then if i should be nice to him how do i talk to him again?? thank you so much and sorry this letter was so wrong. thanks again:)

i think you should slowly, but surely let him in again. be a little nicer, but don`t just all of a sudden go back to like before. talk to him. ask him why he was ignoring you and stuff. figure it out.

by april, you should be able to get the splits with a simple stretch. stand up straight and lift one leg up and rest your foot onto something that`s about waist height. if you aren`t that flexible, start with something a little lower. stretch down for a while, then switch. do this until your nose can touch your knee. then, use something higher to rest your foot on and do the same thing. do this every day until you can do the splits. once you can do the splits, make sure that you can every day, and keep stretching. as for the toe touch, i`m not exactly sure what that is, so yea. haha. but i hope i helped.

i would just get a long-lasting lip stick, one that doesn`t smear&stuff. not all lip sticks are bright colors. there are paler ones as well, so using that might help.
