the first time i tried it, it hurt because i put it in wrong. you may have probably put it in wrong but if thats not it, then try a smaller sized tampon or it just may that your nervous. and it will probably hurt more if you dont have your period because its dry and when you pull it out it would hurt.. but if you are on your period and it still hurts, just try a smaller sized tampon.. good luck!

you dont have to worry, periods are always like that. they come and go.. sometimes they can be between 3-7 days. i wouldnt worry because periods could be irregular
