I've been through a lot of things, and I'm only 14. Some people think I have the perfect life but in reality, I DO have a lot of problems...
I've had people who passed away, crying all the time, people have told me to kill myself (sluts), I have seen people talk about suicide...I know some people who tried killing themselves, so many things that I'd rather not discuss that are pretty horrible, and a lot of other things now that are on my mind...good and bad and...*cough* puberty too...=(
Oh and I also believe in psychics, spirits (only good) and I'm a Christian Catholic.

My dad threatens to ground me for EVERYTHING these days..... Getting a C, buying a thong, eating 'lots' of junk food, buying food for myself, yelling at him, sleeping in too late, waking up too early.. You name it, my dad threatens to ground me for it! I just got off-grounded for getting a C- in English & buying a bag of candy for a "party" that me & my friends had at lunch last friday. I HATE HIM SO MUCH!!!!!!!! What am I supposed to do?? (link)

Well, by the way you sound it seems like you deserve it. I don't get GROUNDED for getting a C- or anything...but a party isn't thrown or anything.
All parents threaten to ground their children at some point...it's no big thing. And OBVIOUSLY he's not going to be too happy with you buying a thong.
Why would you HATE your dad for threatening to ground you. That's extreme...I cop an attitude wirth my parents a lot, but I NEVER EVER say i hate them, even if I do not mean it...that's just wrong.
There's nothing YOU CAN do. Just be a good daughter. Do better in school, don't by thongs (ew by the way), and just act respectful. If it weren't for your dad (or mom) you WOULDN'T have a roof over your head, food, or money to buy those UGLY THONGS!
Want my opinion, your PROBABLY A VERY NICE PERSON, but right now you sound like a spoiled brat...and there's nothing you can do about this...obviously he won't be happy about any of this. (Especially the thongs, the grade, and the sleeping late).

I have this friend. Well, he's not exactly my friend, but we hang out at school and stuff. Awhile back, I used to like him and I told some people. One day, someone told him. Then he started avoiding me. Now he's talking to me, like all the time. He always wants my advice on something and always sticks up for me. Does anyone know why he's acting like this?

A lot of boys at first avoid the girls when they find out if a girl likes them because they don't want the girls to think that they like girls if they only do something simple like say hi to them. That happens A LOT. In my old school, I like this kid named *Gary* and we were really good friends and we would always have fun playing jokes on eachother and stuff, but when he found out he immediately avoided me. Eventually he came around and was his regular-self again, although really nothing was the same.
That also happened with this other kid I liked a few years later, and he didn't really AVOID me, he just was a little different than before, nothing dramatically changed or anything though.
And to tell you the truth, when somebody finds out you like them, they act weird because it's just awkward if you don't feel the same way about the person. That's like when I find out somebody likes me or something, I kind of walk away from them, but then after evetually all the awkward-ness dies down (and even if I don't feel the same way about them), I go back to my regualr self around them.
Do you get what I mean?..I have no clue if this is making any sense to you. And I'm kind of out of it because I'm kind of in the same situation...both ways around. I don't know...I just hope I helped...

I'm not in high school just yet...almost though. But sign language it definitely A GREAT CLASS. I have a few sign language books and try to learn sigbn language (and braille) for my hobbies.
Stick with it...you may be able to really help somebody someday.

DUMP HIM! Love is supposed to be a special feeling for only ONE other person. It's not supposed to be meant for TWO OR MORE people. I know you love him, and he's saying he loves you more than her just to make you satisfied...but think about it, really, I'm sure he's telling the other girl the same exact thing (and if he says he isn't, he's probably lying).
Why would you even consider going out with this kid still after YOU KNOW FOR SURE that there's another girl involved?? I'd drop the jerk and be on my way in 2 seconds. It will be hard...but think about it....there's another GREAT guy out there for you somewhere and he'll ONLY LOVE YOU, and that's greater than anything in the world.

Warm/hot water helps sore muscles after excercising, because it helps to sooth the pain.
But if you get a bruise from falling, then ice is probably best for now.

hello i have written times and have received some good advice so i hope i get some again
here is the problem i wash everyday but i want to smell wonderful all the time i am an overweight person i use soap deodorant and some perfume but there are times i could smell better can anyone tell me some secrets to smelling good all the time this really bugs me especially in the warm weather i would like to smell shower fresh all the time i am working on the weight if anyone knows of any good products i would appreciate it thanks (link)

If you're using perfume...there's nothing to worry about. I'm sure you'll smell fine.
But yes, shower everyday - and maybe try to use different soaps. Put on deoderant before and after gym, and when you get up in the morning. Also if you put on perfume, don't really mix too many varieties of perfume...the smells will clash and it may smell weird, and the smell will be to strong.
Get a whole bunch of lotions and put them on you a few times a day. It will keep your skin smooth, and it will also make you smell good.
But next time you go shopping pick up some scented soap that smells like fruit. Or shower wash and shampoos that smell different than the usual kind you buy.

And, as for the bleeding...what the heck do you mean? Just because he bleeds a lot when he gets cut you're not going to go out with him. I don't understand. And if that's NOT what you mean, try giving more information next time.
Obviously the boy you like and you are really good friends...and if he knows you like him and isn't acting weird around you doesn't that tell you something? Maybe he likes you. Just ask him to the movies. Don't ask him as a date if you're not ready...but just as a couple of friends hanging out. Make it clear that that's all that is.
As for the other guy, it doesn't matter if he likes you. If a guy likes me it doesn't mean I have to flirt with him or anything...it doesn't even mean I have to like him.
Did this guy ask you out?
If he did then let him down gently, and tell him you think of him more as a friend.
