unfortunately the "popular" crowd is usually considered to be the "preps" and the "jocks", meaning cheerleaders, football players, people that dress in expensive clothes, homecoming prince and princess etc. however, this is not always the case. popular, in essence, means well liked by people. so there are exceptions at school where people who dont fit into the typical idea of popular still are because they are friends with many people, and are well known and well-liked.

I have a big problem! I have a report on lima beans due on TUESDAY! It needs to be five paragraphs, and I can't find much information on Google. Can anyone give me a site with a good amount of info on lima beans? Or better, can anyone give me some facts?

a lima bean is also known as a butter bean. it is grown for its seed. the small-seeded form is distributed from mexico to argentina, generally found 1600 meters above sea level, while the large-seeded form is found distributed in ecuador and north peru, between 320 and 2030 meteres above sea level. lima beans can grow on bushes or vines. they belong to the plantae kingdom. i hope this helps!

im not sure if waterproof cameras are the same as underwater cameras, but there are underwater cameras that can be used when swimming or diving, and as long as the water is clear they usually take very good pictures. underwater cameras can usually be found at drugstores.

kissing with braces is the same as kissing without braces. regular kissing is exactly the same, and no it doesnt hurt. french kissing shouldnt hurt either, unless the person who is kissing you scrapes their tongue on your braces. but in general no.

although it is part of their religion, it is still illegal for them to smoke weed. if they get caught, they arent going to get off because they say it's part of their religion. anyone, hypothetically, could say that they are rastafarian and are doing it for their religion.

So, I am trying to decide if I am skinny enough or not to wear a bikini yet. I really want to because i have lost 20 pounds sice last summer but I am still 153ish. Im 5'5' and my BMI is a 25.5. So I am still overweight. I am not very tone on my stomache yet and I am scared that people will make fun of me because most the people at the pool I go to go to my school. I am worried that the guys will be like OMG she is way to fat to wear a bikini. Do people really judge you on what you look like in one? So should I do it or not? Sorry it is kinda long (link)

if you want to wear a bikini, i think you should. a lot of people that arent thin wear bikinis, its not that uncommon. and since youve lost so much weight, you should reward yourself somehow. if you steel are a little worried about wearing a bikini, you could always try a tankini. a tankini would be a good choice because it shows a little bit of your stomach, but not all of it. whatever you choose, be confident about it and it wont matter what youre wearing.

Ok this girl I have liked for a long time is starting to break up with her boyfreind. I dont relly think she likes him cause he is a jerk. The other day I was talking to her and I said "Whats up?" she says "oh nothing scoot it acting like we arent even going out" and I said "Why? is hes he flirting with other girls or just not treating yu like a lady should be treaded ;)" and she says " a bit of both" then we talked for a bit and I said "your a princess and you sould be treated like that" and she says "awwww" and I said you diserve better and was being sweet to her and Hd a brief coversation with her like "Hi oh crap gotta jet". compliment her often, on anything and everything. tell her her shirt makes her eyes look really pretty, or that she smells nice. find out what she's interested in and talk to her about it. a simple "i heard you were interested in..." shows her that you are the type of guy that pays attention and youre interested in her. always be nice and drop subtle hints that you like her.

the screen on my ipod video has a lot of tiny scratches. by a lot, i mean the entire thing just has tinyyyyyyy little scratches everywhere. it makes pictures look a little blurry.the quality of the media/video doesn't look so great anymore. how can i fix the scratches?? (link)

unfortunately there isnt any way to fix the scratches. my ipod has that problem as well. the only thing you can do at this point is buy a new ipod, or buy a case for your ipod that protects the screen and will prevent it from getting further scratches.

i have red hair but have been getting "violated" by hispanic workers lately. and my hispanic friend said its because of my red hair is what draws their attention. well i want to dye my hair brown just as a temporary, just even if it lasts less than three weeks. just to see how it would look you know? i was wondering if anybody knew any temporary hair dyes that were good and came out all the way. thanks in advance! loreal color pulse is a hair dye that is in mousse form, you put it on your hair and let it sit for 30 minutes, and it lasts for 8-10 shampoos. another good hair color product is manic panic. you can choose betwenn demi permanent that lasts for a few days to a week, or semi permanent, which lasts a few weeks. good luck!

different guidance councelors will do different things. most likely after you tell them they will ask you to talk about why you cut and what is going on in your life that makes you feel the need to. they will call your parents because they need to know. they cant force you to go to a psychologist, but your parents will probably make you. if youre worried about going to one though, dont be worried. a psychologist can help you get your feelings out, and is someone who you can talk to. they wont tell your parents anything you say unless they feel its endangering you or others. many people go to psychologists just to have someone to talk to.

Well, not really a makeover but I need some updates! Here's the kind of stuff I'm looking for:
-Up-beat songs like Kevin Little's "Turn Me On". Stuff that you can shake your booty to. I'm not talking about hiphop and rap. A good example is Crazy Frog's "In The House"...that kind of beat - I don't even like Crazy Frog but I don't know who sings the original version of that tune. "Gasolina" is another example. It's all about the beat.
- Trance/techno/house - I love em all.
- I like rock, pop/rock, alternative.
- I like industrial music, as well as electronic and dance.
So there you go. Basically I'm looking for songs that aren't R&B, rap and hiphop - and not too popish...I'm open to French, Italian, Romanian, whatever kinda music.

so i know this kid and we'll call him tom. tom flirts with me a lot. he desont try to make it subtle or anything, either. he gets in my face and tells me that we're going to date one day, and he's going to kiss me, and hugs me every chance he gets. im not a flirty person, and as much as i actually like tom's advances, it;s hard for me to flirt back, especially when people are watching. i mostly end up laughing it off and backing away. last weekend though we were at a party and i told him to stop. i was laughing when i said it, and it's not like its the first time ive ever said it, either. i was jsut nervous because he was telling everyone how i liked him and wouldnt admit it and everyone was looking at me. so after i told him to stop, he backed off. he seriously backed off. like he ihgnored me for the rest of the day until we left at around 9, and then he asked for a hug. he hugged me for a good five or six seconds but he was no where near as flirty as he usually is.
then i went to my friends house at about 1 my friend got on myspace (duhh) and he messaged me asking her asking us to come to his house because its the next street over. we said no and he promised not to touch me. we still said no. i really just didnt want to because i was ready for bed. he was being really overly nice about me and he usually likes to tease me.
i think im bothered that he isn't focusing all his attention on me, and i know thats shitty because i didnt treat him all that well when he did.

most likely he is hurt because he feels like you rejected him, and its obvious he really likes you. i would suggest saying something like "i hope you werent upset when i told you to stop at that party, i was just teasing and i wasnt trying to be mean to you" that way he will know you didnt reject him, and he may decide that you do like his attention.

i am not gothic, but at one time i dressed in the gothic style. goth people are exactly the same as everyone else in terms of emotions. unless they are depressed, which not all of them are, they feel happiness, anxiety, anger, and yes, they can and do fall in love. dont get the idea that gothic people are different from you. they may dress differently, and they may have a different religion and set of beliefs, but they are poeple just like everyone else. some may like things that seem abnormal and creepy, and some may be obsessed with horror films and vampires, but many gothic people are only gothic because of the style, not the religion. in fact, there are a lot of gothic people that are very outgoing and cheerful and like things that evryone else does, they just choose to dress differently than others.

i went through this situation as well. your parents can check online and see how many texts you've sent, and at what time, but unless they have already asked that information shouldnt show up on your bill. as for them being able to read what you are saying? there is no way for them to find out that information. verizon doesnt keep texts on record, and its most likel that no one at verizon ever even sees texts, so you can say whatever you want and not have to worry about a thing.

if you have a warranty, take it to the place where you bought the ipod, and the technicians may fix the screen or give you a new one, for no cost. if you dont have a warranty, you want to take it to someone like geek squad or an electronics repair store, prices will vary depending on where you go.
