Q: Are there any bombb Emo/ Scene / Rock/ Whatever, artists that no one know about? Also what are some really fun/funny songs that are by some artists [ex-fershure by medric driod,i mean i forget the name,sorry,but if you know it,you rock,and i mean things like that] Anyways,aside from that,any artists that are emo/scene/punk/rock that are good? just a list, and maybe mention your favorite songs/albums. thanks,sorry if this was confuseing.

Q: what does it mean when you're playing guitar and someone says that your fingers have to 'callus over'...so you get used to playing.
im going to start guitar soon, and i want to know what that means. thanks.

actually, its when the skin on the tips of your fingers on the hand you play on the frets with get tougher/harder.[for right handed people, it'd be the left hand]. it hurts at first when you start playing, but you'll eventually get them so it's not so bad. i just started playing a few months ago and they're finally callusing over, haha.

How do you know if you actually like (teenage) love your boyfriend?? i think i love him but i dont know why i like him. My friend tried to help me and we made a list of 10 things but i like those things in all my exs and stuff... so my question is:
is there a way to find out why i love him?
And why I'm still with him??And if I even love him?

in all honesty, only you can decide if you are in love with him. i personally think you'll know when you fall in love. it's the most wonderful, amazing, indescribable feeling in the world. you won't see any other person the same way you see him. so, it's a definite possibility that you love him. but then again it could just be the sort of love a step up from loving your friends. [which i really don't consider being in love, but that is loving someone.] ha, it's complicated. so it's mostly up to you.

Q: Well I'm a Freshman (15 years old) in high school and I took the ACT for the first time ever. I got a 19 on it and I was wondering if that was a good score for my age and all. So is it good or should I have scored higher?

for a freshman, that rules. a girl i know in my grade [a junior] took it and got a 17, haha. so i'd definitely say that's pretty good :)

Q: my parents are way strict. i hate it. they`re asian, that`s why. my dad doesn`t really know anything, but recently, my mom found out that i`m friends with a few gangsters and i`ve been sneaking around hanging out with them and stuff. &she found out that THEY were the ones driving, not parents. now she won`t let me hang out with them. idk what to do. cuz i`m good friends with them. &i want to hang out with them. i hate her. she`s so controling. what do i do ?

this probably isn't what you want to hear, but i'm going to be honest...

she's probably "controlling" because you were sneaking around with gangsters. um, hello- last time i checked parents didn't like hen their kids snuck around without their permission. to me, this just screams "trust issue."

and i'm pretty sure being asian isn't the only reason. have you done things like this in the past? have you done anything else that would make them distrust you?

put yourself in their shoes- they just want what's best for you, i promise. but if you still think they're reasons are unjustified, then sit them down and have a talk with them about your feelings, and then ask them if you could have a chance to show them your responsible and make desicions you think are right.

Q: Okay, so do you know what those little fuzzy things that are on shirts called? Like, you could have a shirt, all clean and stuff, but after a while it gets these little fuzzy thingies all over. Not lint or anything.. I actually have no idea what it's called. Hopefully, you understand me? & If you know what they are, why do they get there?

i simply call those "fuzzies". haha. most everyone around here does, too. but it's west virgnia, haha, so who knows about the rest of the world.

I have the new AIM 6.0 & I can't figure out how to delete a buddy. I right clicked & it should say delete & I hit actions-nothing. HELP!

select the buddy you want to delete, and then towards the bottom of your buddy listm, there's buttons for "IM", a "+/-", and an "actions" button. click the plus/minus button and it says "delete selection" under there :]

Q: if anyone has the new aim 6.0 do you know how to link a screen name, because i had the old one before and it said manage linked sn, and now in the new one it doesn't have it
any advice helps=)

on your buddy list, go to the "edit" tab, then all the way to the bottom to "settings". then once your there, go to the "buddy list" tab [on the left] and at the bottom it has a link to manage linked screen names.

Q: Okay I need some Emo Music-I love bands like Secondhand Serenade, RJA, Story of The Year... Good stuff like that can you give me other good bands that are emoish like them?

going through my ipod, considering i like those bands 7 they're ype of music too, i've got:

the scene aesthetic, the ataris, blue october, dashboard confessional, five times august [sort of, they're like "happy emo" if there is such a thing], lifehouse, oasis, plain white t's, skillet [they're christain. but still "emo".], the spill canvas [my personal favorite], staind [more heavy rock], straylight run, sugarcult [another person fave], taking back sunday, switchfoot, & tonic.

Q: how do i put pictures on my ipod nano?

when your ipod is plugged in and itunes is open, on the main menu on the left, click on your ipod icon-thing. then it opens your ipod overview page thing. at the top, there are different tabs. click the photo one. personally, i made a new folder with all the pictures i wanted to put on there, and then hit "upload pics from folder" or whatever it says. then just find the folder and bam- there they are on your ipod.

if they don't automatically upload to your ipod, just unplug it from the computer and plug it back in :]

Q: I'm trying to go on this student travel thing, it is for high schoolers, you go to a different country and do community service for a month over the summer. I need two teacher recomendations.
i'm going to ask my advisor, but i need someone else. I really want to ask my english teacher, she is awesome, she is my favorite teacher. but... I do very well in that class, i'm a good writer, but one of the questions that she would have to answer on the reccomendation sheet is the students mood, social-ness. And a lot of times I come into that class kind of quiet and i look sad. Partly it's at the end of the day, also i'm going through a lot of stuff so i'm not always in a good mood, and also i don't raelly realize i look sad even though i do, i don't notice that i'm smiling. she even commented on it a few days, shes like "you always come in to class like the world is about to end." i think she thinks i'm a good student and everything, but i'm worried about that question. should i ask another teacher that i don't like much, ask her, or ask her and be like "I know you think i'm never happy looking! but really, I am, it just doesn't seem like it sometimes, and I really to like this class and I'm worried about what you'll write, but i wanted to come to you anyway because you're my favorite teacher" ?????? so what should i do, i really want to do this student travel program!

i would definitely ask her if she'd fill it out for you, and tell her that you really are a happy person. maybe even explain what you jsut explained on here to her, if you feel comfortable enough.

Q: Can you put any type of lotion/body lotion, on your face? or is it just for the body? My face is really dry from using acne medicine a lot so I want to mosturize it but I get oily skin a lot and right after I wash my face too so I don't want it to get more oily

well, you can, but you're right- it would make your face a little more oily.

i have the same problem, so i use clinique "dramatically different moisturising lotion". it works wonders & doesn't make your face oily. you'd probably have to go to a clinique place or a department store to get it.

do guys like hjs fast or slow?

start slow, then work your way up. actually, i'm pretty sure he wouldn't want you to go really fast and then go slower all a sudden- that kills the momentum and it almost hurts them if you can't finish it off after that.

Q: Is there a way to tell when a guy has a boner in class?

unless of course you feel it or look then, no. a lot of guys sort of tuck it in the waistband of their boxers [info straight from my boyfriend, hahaha.]

Q: Semi is about 4 months away,and i know its early,but i want to get a dress. But I can't find any that might go good with my body shape.I'm 13 I'm only a 32A, and also im pretty skinny. I'm also short, 4"9-10,so its hard.I'm looking for a dress thats short [not knee high,shorter.] I have really long legs.They're like my whole body.I have brown hair/brown eyes.I'm not the tannest. So what I'm asking is, what color would look good on me, what dress would go good for my body type,and where can I get it? i think you'd probably look cute in a tube top, poofy dress. like it's slim fitting from the top down to probably the waist, then it poofs. i tried on a few dresses like that, they're really cute.

Q: Love at 16...?
What do you guys think? Is it possible? Or is it just a bunch of teen emotions?

i'm sixteen myself, and i'm throughly convinced i'm in love. we've been dating more than a year and half. there are aboslutely no words to explain my feelings for him. it's the deepest, most sincere love i've ever felt in my life. i think it's completely possible [:

Q: what happens when my permit expires?? it expires this summer [yes i know a long time from now] but what if i fail my drivers test or im not ready to take it?? i live in PA & everyone is telling me that i have to retake my permit test over again. is this true?? that doesn't seem fair to me. do they give you extentions?? thanks.

well, i live in west virginia and unless the law varies by a lot, then normally your permit is still valid 30 days after it expires. but after that, i'm pretty sure you do have to retake the permit test.

but honestly, don't freak out over the driver's test. it's easier than you think, believe me :)

Q: Does anyone know of the magazine 6 seven 8th? I really like the style in that magazine and if you know some of the stores where they get those clothes could you tell me? Its a fairly new mag so idk if you would know of it.... otherwise if you havnt heard of it do you know any brands that sell non-preppy,non-vintage styles? My favorite style is pac-sun and roxie so if you know any brands like that id be happy for your help.

Q: my boyfriend and i were together for 6 months and i liked him for a year(it took us a while to go actually become a couple) well, i broke up with him a month ago because we fought too muchand when we first broke up i thought i should go out and have fun and flirt so i kissed two other guys and when i did i kept thinking about him and how much better of a kisser he was, how much nicer he was, etc..and ever since then its been off and on missing him insanely..to not wanting to talk to him(thats only when he wants to talk about stuff about him missing me and stuff though)to feeling like i absolutely love him..weve hung out since we broke up and on impulse i ran up and hugged and kissed him and felt SO HAPPY and i still find myself wanting to be with him..and other guys just dont seem to compare to him and i still always wanna call him when im sad and need someone..but sometimes i dont even think about him much and after the breakup i wasnt even that devastated..just felt empty..is this love or something im mistaking for love? im sorry its long haha i go into detail too much i gotta fix that i suppose

hiii! i'm caroline. i'm eighteen years old, and just started my freshman year of college. i have a magificent boyfriend who i love more than anything. we've been together over three years. he's also my best friend. speaking of which, my other best friends are also pretty fantastic. another huge part of my heart is devoted to god. he's blessed me with so much more than i deserve, and even though i fall short on a daily basis, he's still there for me, every step of the way. i'm a pretty simple girl- i love anything fun, texting, being outdoors, swimming, playing soccer, frisbee, or watching football, spending time with my family, and most of all- living my life to the absolute fullest.

to be frank, i'm not going to answer your questions about girl drama or pregnancy, because i have no experience in either of those categories, nor do i want to listen to you whine about how "we didn't use a condom" or "she's such a &*^#%!!!!". however, i'm totally open to anything else. drop something in my inbox and i'll get to it pretty quick- i'm quite the net nerd (:
