Hey peeps. I am thinking of becoming a goth. But I have some dilemmas.

1 my mom wont let me be what I wanna be. I know the consequences. I told me mom that I wanted to dye my hair black, and she freaked.
2 I cant get past the metaphores. To goths, gothic sayings may have a meaning but when I hear or see gothic sayings or quotes or whatever, all I see is stuff about blood, guts, and death.
3 Idont know any chain stores that has a lot of gotic clothing and silver jewelry with the gothic sighns.


Help.

please..just be yourself. labels are gay as well..you cant be just "goth" or just "prep"..be who you are.

I might get a Ipod for Christmas. I was wondering about free music, doesn't Limewire have free music. If so has anyone got viruses from it ?

Also which Ipod is cheapest and what kind hold the most songs. (I'm thinking a Nano or a normal one :))

Why can't I wear foundation? I'll put on a little and blend it in but when you look at my face..it's all fuzzy and then it gets dry..and my face looks worse than it did before. I have tried powder and it worked until my face started to get dry and I can't wear it either. I don't know what to do...

Get GC Smoothers in your skin tone. it is the only foundation that has worked for me..i definatly recomend it!

Okay.. Me an this girl have been friends since like the 6th grade and now we are freshman. Well at the beginning of the school year she got caught taking pills along with some other kids. Well every since then she has been hanging out with these other people that are wrong for her. So now she does crack, weed, sniffs muscle relaxers && drinks. I try an talk to her but all she does it cuss me out. She says this is the happiest shes been in awhile, and that she likes doing it. She says shes tired of me acting like a "perfect christian" thats it's p'ing her off. She also said that if i told anyone that she was gonna beat my butt. She parties every weekend and even on the weekdays. I don't know what to say to her anymore about it. I want to help her so much. But I dunno what to do. Please help me.

well the truth is..that there isn`t really anything you can do. she has the right to do whatever she wants..even if it is the wrong desion. eventually she should realize that this isn`t her. i hope everything works out..but for now try and keep your mind off it. if you need anything else feel free to ask me!

Ok so there is this guy that i just got to know this year. He is great and sweet and a wonderfull person. We have a lot in common. The problem is he won't tell me that he likes me though he told that to one of my best friends, his best friend, and everyone can tell anyways. I like him too and i want him to ask me out. My friends told me to kiss hhim and i want to but i am soo nervous and scared. I wish he would just get it over with. If i kiss him then that would be my first kiss. My question is: What should I do? Should I kiss hiim or just confront him?

well it depends on the time. if you are ready to kiss him (and he`s ready too) then go for it! just make sure it won`t be something you regret later. my first kiss was with a guy just like that..we weren`t going out or anything..and he never told me he liked me..it just kind of..happened i guess. i can`t tell you what you should do..just follow your heart..it will lead you to where your meant to be:)

Okay so i need help with my hair. It's naturally wavy and very full. It's also EXTREMELY frizzy. Now, normally I straighten my hair, but its getting harder. You see, I am overweight and need to lose weight. And the only way to do this of course if to eat right and excersize. Well i dont like to excersize cuz when I do, I sweat..alot and working out everynight will make my hair smell by mid-week. So here's my dilema, I dont like to wash my hair, simply because of the fact that once I wash it, and it dries..its like "HOLY *****" and straightening it is WORSE! my hair always looks terrible when I straighten it for the first time since washing my hair. Is there anyway this can be helped? I'm sick of having Frizzy hair.

OMG I have a halloween party on like the 7th and I haven't gotten a costume yet. I don't know what to wear. I also will have a halloween dance and go trick-or-treating. I think I might be a boy but not sure. My mom won't let me buy a costume so what should I do??

I love wearing thongs my mom don't know it though I feel more confortable in a thong then any other kind of underwear my mother don't know I wear thongs and she doesn't understand that that's whats in and no one wants panty lines last year I asked her if I could were thongs and she said no It's so unfair. I want to be able to wear thongs it's not like I'm going to show it to anyone or anything like that. I won't wear them with skirts (ofcoarse I'm not that slutty). How can I ask her again and convince her to let me wear thongs?

13/f Okay..for the girls you may know what I'm feeling here..

Well do any of you other girls ever really want a boyfriend? Well that's the way I'm feeling..I mean lately I just feel..ugly. I mean no guys at school like me and today a few guys asked me out but I know(at least I think) that they were kidding. And in a few weeks I will be going to Cedar Point with my friend for her birthday and she's bringing two of her guy friends. She's saying that me and her guy friends would make such "cute couples" but I don't know..With my luck, they probably won't like me.

I don't know..I guess I'm just really self-concious about this..When I look at other girls, they are so pretty and it makes me feel like I'm as ugly as dirt.

And all of my friends think I'm pretty but I don't. I think I'm fat and that I'm totally unattractive.

Does anyone know why I'm feeling this way? I understand that it's probably hormones but..

aww..hunn..i even went through this. i would compare other girls to myself and think i was so ugly. just look at the positives of yourself. think of what you have..that no one else does. You will find someone..trust me. i found this amazing guy a year or so ago now and when he said he liked me..i was shocked because i thought i was ugly. every guy has a different opinion..trust me..they aren`t all the same. good luck n i hope you find someone soon!=) if you ever need anything else..drop one in my inbox.

what are some self tanners that will make me tan without having it look fake?

try looking for one that says it tans GRADUALLY. these were the only ones that worked for me. Every other one made my skin look orange and took days to come off! i hope i helped=)

well i wouldn`t really kno..but i DO kno that Seventeen magazine always shows clothes for every type of body. They kno exactly what clothes flatter your body and make you look thinner. I would deffinatly try it! ♥ Michelle
