ii have a seriously bad habit of biting my nails ii would love 2 have some long nails by the time school starts, does ne1 know of some really good tips and/or products or something that would get me 2 stop? -[(nail polishes? medicines?)]- any good answers get 5!! thanx loads!

Been there with the nail biting bit.

My mother and I went and got this polish (At Sally Beauty Supply) and it tasted like nasty-ass so I pretty much kept my fingers out of my mouth forever.

How can I make certain words bold when I type an entry in my xanga. I've tried Ctr B, but it brings up my Bookmarks instead of bolding things. Is there any other way I can fix this?

Cheeck the box "Edit HTML" and before the word you want bold, but my text is like this and then uncheck the "Edit HTML" box and it's bold.

i was watching vh1 last night and there was advertizements for this tanning stuff called " coppertone " and i was thinking about trying it does anyone know if it is good or does anyone use it i rate high

All of those spray one tans never work. You look orangy and it stains your hands plus you're streaked. If you want to tan fast buy tanning minutes and a good lotion.

What's way wicked, is getting simple magazine and cutting out pictures. It'll add some personality to your room, some 'zest'. For the purple green and blue, I really thing you should paint your walls the smallest detailed color on the comforter. So if it's blue. paint 'em blue. So on and so forth. Rugs? Hm...yeah.

First of all, you might not want to try calling yourself ugly, shy, and boring. And you wont look big headed. Like me, physicially, I think I have the most prettiest eyes in the world, and personality wise, I think I'm very down to earth and funny. Did that sound bidheaded? Nah!

I've dealt with this--to a bigger extreme. Uhm, What you could do is write lists of all of your friends so when You look at it you know how many people care for you and that'll make you feel better. I started a scrap book, but I'm also a really crafty person.

And if worst comes to worst, talk to your parental units--even better, someone with a degree. Go to a shrink. I do. They're not the stereotypical thing you get. Mine is acually a femenist and buddhist.

Well, I have a dinky room, there literally is no more room for stuff to go into it. However,I am a female..and I guess being clean is just a small trait of mine.

My roommate is prone to cold sores. She is afraid to go to a tanning bed because they have triggered a cold sore for her in the past. But, we are planning a trip to Florida in May, and we want to get a tan before going there. Since we live in northern US, the only way to get a tan right now would be to go to a tanning salon.

She is saying that she won't go, and instead will go to Florida pale. I do not want that to happen because she will end up getting majorly sunburned the first day and will end up having a horrible time. I want her to have fun so I can have my fun roommate to hang out with, instead of my miserable cranky roommate to bum me out.

Can anyone explain to me some "safe" ways to get a tan without burning or triggering a cold sore. Or, does anyone know of any products that will help prevent cold sores. If you are prone to getting them, and have experience with things that have helped you, that would be very helpful.

Ohkay, my dear, it is acually healthier for your skin if you tan before you go. You are closer to the equater and if you get prone to tanning/sunburn your skin wont get as damaged.

However, I think fake baking is awful and horrible. Do you know the damage that can do to your skin? Instead of skin cancer, I'll just stick with my pale Iowan and Irish skin!

For tanning in a bed, cold sores can be triggered by anything. And some coldsore preventors can't be worn in a bed. I think she should go to a dermatologist. He/she would say the tanning is the safest thing to do for your skin, and reccomend stuff.

i really want to become a vegetarian because i actually prefer helthy food to meat and burgers and i don't like to think that i'm eating something that once was a part of a living animal. although i would still eat seafood, dairy products and eggs, it would probably cause me to lose weight or not be able to gain weight, and i'm already skinny as it is. so my question's adressed to vegetarians and those who know a lot about nutrition: is it possible to gain weight while being a vegeterian? does it always cause people to lose weight?
