I love my life because I believe that I live my life to the fullest and cherish every moment of every day (despite how boring some days may be =P).
I am only 17 (going on 18), but have grown more and learned more than some people a whole lot older than me. I have gone through many chapters of my life and also changed like a chameleon, but believe that I have finally found my color. Despite any religious background someone might have, I just give my advice through advice I have been given by reading the bible, listening to peoples problems (you learn alot of things by listening to your own advice), and also listening to public speakers of many aspects.

I would like some ideas for my daughter sweet 16 party

My first question would have to be if you intended it to be a surprise party? I think that surprise parties are amazing and really make a person feel loved; however, parties that are out in the open just seem to be easier because you can get her input on it. If it is a surprise party though, speaking to her best friends would definately be the best idea because they could probably tell you what she would enjoy/not enjoy.

If her party is not a surprise (or even if it is), here are a few ideas, or you could even just try talking to her directly & see if she has anything in mind.

1. If she's more into dancing & hip hop type, you could do as the person before me said & hire a dj (or even just put some good songs onto a CD or play your daughter's ipod if possible) and get strobe lights and other lights to create a cool dance floor (maybe outside on a patio even).

2. If your daughter is more of a girl thats living in the wrong era, you could always do a time themed party. Different times call for different possible costumes and decorations. There are 50s themed parties (have all invites dress in old 50s doowop attire & decorate like a diner or route 66 and play some swingin music!) There are also 70s parties with groovy dancing and fun. Any time era is possible!

3. There is always a leiu (I am not sure if I spelled that correctly, I'm sorry). A nice Hawaiin theme is always fun & can call for some fun and relaxing decorations.

4. With any party, no matter how old/young the person, games are always fun! Try hula hooping contests or ball tosses...its a party, go back in the day and just try to have some old fashioned fun!

When I saved the changes and went to look at them they were the normal sizes i started out with...BIG. How do I make them stay small the way i resized them on photobucket.

Hey, there are alot of people with this type of problem so don't get too worried.

Working out (exercising) usually works the best to give you more energy. Although you will be tired the first few times you work out, in the long run exercising will give you more energy to stay up. So basically you won't need so much sleep.

Also, I know it sounds hard to believe, but getting too much sleep can also make you tired. Your body will just be so use to relaxing that when you actually have to do something it will say NO and want to go back to sleep, so you might want to watch how much you sleep in a night.

Also, you may want to check your eating habits. The more things that you eat that are good for you will also provide you with more energy. Fruits and vegetables are what they call "candy thats good for you". Basically, fruits and vegetables can provide your body with the same energy that candy/caffeine, but doesn't have the horrible crash later on in the day.

Anyways, from my research doctors are able to detect nicotine in the samples, however most drug tests aren't screening for anything that isn't illegal. Basically, most places use tests to detect ILLEGAL substances only, which in your case would come back all negative since nicotine isn't illegal.

Just note that there are some tests that detect for nicotine too and your doctor may call you out on it, mostly if you marked "no" to smoking on your actual physical exam paper.

Hey smokey eye looks are usually a hit so why not go with that?
I found a video that shows you how to do it, I figured that since you're doubting it so much you may not know how to do it?
I know you said your eyes aren't exactly asian, but the person in the video's are, but its basically the same design anyways. Here is the link, she is using a brown as the middle color and since you don't have that you can just use the Grey. So just use your black, Grey, then white.

If you don't want to do the smokey eye, you can do the same design, but with different colors. It just kind of depends on what color outfit you are going to wear.
For example you could try putting on purple eyeshadow to your lids then adding the gold to your brow line (basically a 2 color mix).

I would definitely recommend the "perfect point plus" eyeliner from "cover girl". This was the first eyeliner that I actually liked because I was like you with an unsteady hand, but it is really easy to work with. It is a pencil, but does not need to be sharpened ever because all you have to do is twist it and more comes up. I think that it is good because it glides on very easily and you don't have to worry about having to sharpen it.

I cant sleep during the night. My body wont let me sleep until 2. And i have no idea why. Im tired. My minds tired. But i just cant. i have to get up and babysit at 6am. So thats only 4 hours. I understand you're situation because I always had the same problem.
One thing I fully recommend is for you to try and take Yoga classes. I'm not trying to promote yoga to anyone, but I recently took it as a summer school class and found that it really helps calming people down. There is an exercise called Savasana which is meant for clearing the mind and calming the body.
What you want to do is lay down on your back, arms by your side, and legs straight. Close your eyes and stop thinking-I know that sounds so hard to do, but even if you push from thought after thought telling yourself not to think, you're still relaxing your mind. Remember that this is not a time for you to judge yourself or plan what you're going to do afterwards, just a time for you to relax. What I do to not think is kinda picture different colors that go along with light music in the background. Sometimes people fall asleep while doing this so I think it might be good for you.

As for your sleeping aids, I hope you are getting them by prescription from your doctor because I feel like that is a way to stay independent from them since your doctor knows what is wrong with you and how long you will need to take them.

What I think is going on is that you're worried too much when you're around guys. You said yourself that you are afraid of blowing your chances, but all you're looking for is a friendship correct? It kinda sounds more like you're looking for a relationship which makes you so much more nervous.

Friendships should just come easily, talk about whatever you talk about with your close girl friends. Thats the only way to stay "real". Just don't think of a difference when you're talking to a guy because since you're only looking for a friend, it should be no different than talking to your girlfriends.

I think a way that you can try to keep things "real" and talk to guys without being shy is to talk to them with friends around. You are more likely to stay yourself when you have your friends around you as your comfort zone. Basically, just act like they're your friend already & speak to them like you would speak to your best friend you know? (Well besides the real personal stuff, that may want to wait till you guys are closer =])

I guess I'm wondering... do you think people's real feelings come out when they are drunk? Since they are more laid back and don't have as much of a fear reflex? There's more of a story but I wanted opinions on this question too.
I, and a boy I have developed slight feelings for, do not drink at home. We went on a school trip to Germany together, where it is legal to drink at our age... I didn't drink enough for it to affect me but he was a little drunk. I was cold and he told me I could sit on his leg and he would keep me warm unless it was too awkward, and I did. He kept asking me like "are your legs cold?" and then he would like rub them a little to keep them warm... and if my hands were cold... He also asked "what would your boyfriend think about this?" (we were like in the process of breaking up at the time) to which I replied "I don't know, it doesn't matter" and he just said yea. I know from what I've seen that (guys at least) seem a little more um touchy-feely when they've been drinking... but do you think this could be any little hint at liking me at all? Yes I believe people's true feelings are able to come out when they are drunk. Like the saying goes a "drunk mind speaks a sober heart", basically that people have the nerve to say things when they're drunk that they wouldn't normally on a day to day sober basis. However, when people say things when they are drunk their minds are everywhere so they aren't able to explain what they really might mean so things can be greatly misunderstood.

As for this guy, its kind of a hard thing to decide on if he may like you. Keep in mind that not only guys get touchy feely when they are drunk, but also girls (just a little added information).

Anyways, some guys are just flirtatious in general so you may want to check out how he act with you when he is sober. If he is still touching you and asking you about your boyfriend it could mean that he in fact like you, but he could also just be curious because for some reason guys like to push the limits just to be curious about your relationship with others.

If he still acts the same sober as he does drunk then i think there is a higher chance of him liking you because when you're drunk your mind is all over the place so maybe in his instance he was just relaxed and was "exploring" his options due to a foggy mind.

Sorry if my advice was confusing, but you basically just need to see how he acts with you when he's sober rather than drunk.

It never hurts to think someone likes you, if anything it can boost your confidence which may boost them into having feelings for you if they didn't before. =] Don't worry about it too much and go with the flow. =]

Yes it does. When you receive the message it doesn't just have the ringtone in it to save, but it gives you the address of the ringtone. So when you go to that address it is actually the internet on your phone which then costs money.

I know it does with at&t phone services, but it may be different for other servers such as verizon or t-mobile.
