i have been spending A LOT of time with my b/f and i haven't been spending as much time with my girlies. i want to hang out with my girlies more and spend time with my b/f just not as much. how can i tell him, nicely, that i would like some space to spend time with the girlies? thanks in advance.

you have to be sweet and upfront about it. just say "hun, i love ya and all, but i think i need to spend some time w/my girls! they are like sis's to me and i miss not being with them, not that i dotn like being with you! cuz i do! but i really need time with my friends just like you need tiem with your friends!" or sumthign along those lines. you juss gotta reassure him that you luv being with him and stuff, but you need a bit of space ot still be you! i hope things go good! drop me a message if ya need more help!

i have the hardest time doing sqaure roots...its easy if its like 9 or 64 or something like that but when ikts 47 or 128 or 90...i dont know how to do it...when the answer equals a # rad a #...if anyone knows what im talking about and can help me...please help!

ok, square roots are not ot hard. depending on the calculator you are using. ifi t is a TI83 or above, it shoudl give you a decimal. if it gives you like 3 radical 2, that means three times the square root of two. depending on the class, soem may want oit like that, soem may want like radical 786 or w/e. some may want a decimal. if your calc is really advnaced and it is giving you a funky thing...try changing the mode to aproximate. or try a regular calculator. if oyu need more help drop me onei n my box...or email me at StageAddict05@hotmail.com.

chew gum, lots of hard candy, as long as yo uhave somethign in oyur mouth, you wont tend to chew on the inside of your mouth. b/c it is all mental, like quitting smoking, so all you have ot do it jsut catch yourself. good luck.

hmmmm...bake something...play "truth or dare" dont knock it, it can be rather fun! maybe you guyz could try and do some really fun improv games liek they do on whose line is it anyway. maybe play "scenes from a hat", "props", or "worlds worst", but of course that is more fun w/ like 4 ppl. hmmm...you could alwyas do the normal...TALK ABOUT BOYS!!! lol. maybe you guyz can try to coreograph a song together...or try to write a song together (if you guyz are good in music) or oyu can play with eah others hair and nails and makeup. try to fidn cute hairstyles ot be used in the future (liek on a date or picture day!) saves loads of time and is loads of fun.

my bfs b day is coming up in about a month and i LOVE him so much....we r really close but i have NO idea wat ot get him!!! help!! i dun wanna get him lyke a watch or sumthing hes more of a skater n i want to get sumtihng that reminds him of me whne he sees it and sumthing sweet...help...15/f

anything that you see in a store that reminds you of him. i did the same thign w/my bf, i got him this neat hemp necklace at Geauga Lake, cuz he was supposed to com with me, but he couldn't cuz of my mom, so i saw it and it reminded me of him, so i got it for him, and he wears it all the time...and he thinks of me all the time when he wears it, says it is like having a little piece of em with him at all times. so, dont stress about it, justsomethign that reminds you of him, and i am sure he will love it. if htat dont work, try somethign home made. like bake your specialty, whatever it is. i always say "the way to a mans heart is thro his stomach!" so good luck and i hope you find hte perfect gift.

i need some advice please!! on thursday there isnt any school, so me and my boyfriend are planning to go out for a movie, and then over 2 his place. its just going to be us to, and of course we will be doing something! we both are ready to loose it, its just that:

1. im scared i COULD get pregnant
2. im just a lil nervous cause i dont know what to do
3. im sorta of on my period, im bleeding just a tiny, and what if i smell bad?!

well, if your scared about all this stuff, then maybe your NOT as ready as you think. here's soem thigns that MAY help you:

1) use a condom, i dont know how well that wil work...but try it anywayz or jsut wait until you get on the pill or the patch.

2) if it's your first tiem adn his first time, dont worry, niether of you know really what your doing. just tell him if it hurts or feels good or whatnot. you have to communicate

3) well, if your on your period, maybe that is a sign that you shouldnt do it...but, if you do, try to douche before hand. you can buy them at stores and make you smell fresh *down there*

don't give in. simple. maybe find a group of people who do thigns like what you want to do, instead of people who do things you dont want to and try to make you. i should know...i stood strong against hte peer pressure of my 2 best freinds (both of whom smoked and kept offering me and offering me) i kept saying "no" untill one day they caught me in a bad position (bad breakup that morning) so i just said yes. worst mistake of my life. i mean, i quit, and it was so hard to say no when they would still offer...eventually they quit offering...untill lately...different story...sorry for ranting...but dont make my mistake ok? stand strong for what you believe in! dont let anyone change that! and dont do anythign you may regret in the future.

I have this boyfriend, he's a great guy and everything but hes REALLY shy. He hasn't held my hand or anything. I know he likes me a lot and I also like him a lot. His shyness is hard to deal with because I am completely opposite. My hair is really long..and very very thick..I have trouble straightening it myself..but whenever anyone else straightens it for me it turns out beautiful..Does anyone have any good tips to help me get my hair super straight and look good..and does anyone know any good products to use?

ok, this may sound kinda dumb, but i have thick hair too, and i got these really super tiny layers (they did them with a razor looking thingy...i forget what they are called) and it thined my hair out a bit, and now i can straighten it fine. maybe try some John Frieda products. i hear they work miracles. try that. i hope you get your hair problems solved. lol.

okay i have tis problem there is this guy that i like, well i love! but when he is around me he acted like he likes me but i don't know how he feels, but i made up my mind to get over him he knows that i like him so i wrote him and e-mail saying that i think it would be better for us not to talk to each other at all and today i saw him and he was really staring at me but after church i avoid him so i didn't talk to him even konw i really wanted to.

if its a bf...then you dont need him if he cant show you how he feels. he may just be scared. if thats the case...then tell him how you feel...maybe you opening up the discussion wil make him feel more of "omg, i'm not hte only one of us who feels this way".

if its a crush...get over it. he only wants what he cant have. sorry for being so upfront...but thats how guyz are sometimes. so you just have to be strong. i know it may be painful, but in the end (i know this is cheesy) but it will make you stronger. what doestnt kill you makes you stronger.

What should you do if you keep on babysitting and they always say they will pay you but never do, and you are too nervous to ask them to pay you?

tell them "i did a service for you, i expect my proper pay" or if that doesnt work, just dont baby sit for them anymore. be like "until you pay me what you owe me for my services, find yourself another babysitter!" or at least thats what i'd do! lol

I know I'm only 13 but I am interested in becoming an art teacher when I am older. Out of interest, what courses would I have to take? How long would I take to qualify? etc

ok, i am in a similar thign, onyli want to be a math teacher, not art, but you have to do the smae things basically. in high school take every art class you can take, pratice it, and love it (that is the most important one i think!) join (if your school has it) the Future Teachers of America (FTA) as soon as you can. you get to student teach for a few days at schools, it really is a wonderful experience! it will take you five years in college to get your bachelors degree (which you need to teach!) and constant updating and thigns like that. as a fellow Future Teacher, i wish you the BEST of luck

can dying ur hair or getting highlights make u go bald?

it can, depending on how often you do it. highlights wont, but dyeing your hair can, if you keep up with your rotos, in the long run, it can make your hair fall out. i have a freind who is natuarally blonde and has had her hair everything from light blonde to deep purple to red to black now. and her hair used to be so full and beautiful, but now it is thinning and falling out. so just be careful, going to the salon and getting it done professional is less dangerous to your hair. good luck and i hope you have fun exerimenting!
