workers comp on the job injury

Question Posted Wednesday December 14 2016, 12:10 am

I fell at work and hurt my foot. I couldn't work for a couple of months and had physical therapy for 2 months. I went back to work 1 week later (with foot brace and crutches). I've received 2 checks for my travel. Dec 31, 2016 will be6 months. Will I also get a settlement?

I hope you did not sign anything that settled the claim. You need to hire a lawyer it cost you nothing as they take part of any settlement you receive. You should have been receiving a weekly check for lost wages as compensation if you filed a claim.

Without a lawyer workers compensation, or the Insurance company for your employer will walk all over you.

Call a lawyer TODAY.
