Finding reliable friends

Hey I go to middle school. I have a fair amount of friends but only 1 I can rely on. But that one person has possibilities of leaving our school next year, I am leaving this school the year after next year, so IF by chance she leaves I won't have anyone to rely on for a whole year, I mean, I have friends and they let me hang out but I really needed that person who is always with me. Please help, I'm really shy and find it hard to get close to people.

Hey I was in this situation before and I just got to know people and then that made me closer to them! Just try your best to talk and understand peopl then they will like u more!
