Converting rpm to mph

Question Posted Friday October 2 2015, 9:33 am

So for the past few days I've been searching everywhere online to see how many calories I burn on the elliptical based on how fast and how long I do it. Yes, the elliptical 'gives the amount of calories burned' if you could say that, but it's based one a 150 lb person. I cannot change the settings on my elliptical so I can't get it to tell me my calories burned based on my weight. I weight 128 lbs and I usually go at a speed of 73-75 for half an hour at noon, but 55-60 for ten minutes in the mornings. I want to know how many calories I burn, but my elliptical only gives the time, the rpm, and the calories burned for a 150 lb person. How can I determine how many mph I'm going to see how many calories I burn. Like I said, my elliptical only gives the rpm and time that I can use, not my heart rate (just in case thats needed) so what formula could I use (or website, whatever) to see how many calories I burn with this?
