what did they do to the lightning theif?

Question Posted Friday May 22 2015, 11:54 am

I had to read the lightning thief in school. I read the rest of the series and am currently on The Lost Hero. I found out there was a movie version and I am not going to tell you all the 10,000 million things wrong with it. Why did they do that?

Aquamarine answered Friday June 5 2015, 12:06 am:
This happens to most books that turn into movies. When you read the book for yourself you can decide what everything looks like. While in the movie it's just what the director thought it looked like. Getting everything from the book is just to time consuming, that's why the movie is never just like the book. A lot of people think that the books are better, because it can go into bigger detail. While books don't have a time limit, movies do, so they have to ditch some of the unimportant stuff. Hope my advice helped! :)
