AppData / Local / Microsoft / Windows / Burn / Burn file corrupted
Question Posted Saturday November 1 2014, 9:16 pm
My computer is telling me that my AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Burn/Burn file is corrupted, as seen in the link below: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
I've ran the check/repair it tells me to, but it doesn't fix it, and says something about a program I downloaded that's preventing the check/repair to finish. How can I fix this?
I'm not even sure what this file is, is it safe to just delete it?
If you didn't check the box to scan for and repair bad sectors, you should run the utility again and do so.
Before you even do that, you should back up and files you wish to keep, simply because errors like this are frequently a sign of impending drive failure.
If you need any further help, please let me know, and provide as many details as you can when you do. Things like which version of windows you are running.
