Is it normal to hear a heart beat in your lower abdomin

I don't think it's "normal" but one time I was laying down on my stomach and could feel my heart beat in my abdomen. I'm not really sure what it means or why it happens, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it starts hurting or you feel like there is pressure or bloating, I would schedule an appointment with a doctor to make sure nothing is wrong internally.
