Which of these two laptops should I get?

Question Posted Saturday July 6 2013, 8:57 pm

I am planning on getting a new laptop that's great for Gaming and Digital Content Creation (Video Editing, 3D Modeling, Graphic Design). So far I'm stuck between these two laptops and not sure which to get. What do you guys think?

Lenovo IdeaPad Y500

OR

ASUS G55VW-ES71

I'm kind of hesitant on the Lenovo because I don't think it comes with a DVD drive so I might be in a pickle if the school I'm going to provides software CDs to install, but still it looks awesome and is a powerhouse with those two NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M Graphics. However, I don't mind the ASUS G55 if you guys agree with me on that part.

I personally think the Asus is better because it is more expensive so you get more for you're money and I have heard more good things about Asus and Lenovo is more of a tablet company
