Can I be annoyed at this? My boyfriend doesn't want to go to a concert with me!
I've been wanting to go to my favourite bands gigs for a while now. I'm 18, my parents won't let me go without a guy, as its in a rough part of town, on a saturday night. My boyfriend refuses to go, even though he has nothing on the next day, he likes the band a reasonable amount, I'm offering to pay for the both of us, and I've been with him to gigs I didn't really want to go to. I can't go with another male as he'll be jealous and annoyed at me. Without him, I can't go to this gig. I want to go to celebrate finally doing the last grade of my piano exams. Am I over reacting by being annoyed at him? I've accompanied him to gigs before, I feel like he's being selfish. The only reason he can give me is that he 'doesn't want to'.

Well first of all, ur 18...you are an adult and can do anything you need or want to do. I think it would be better if your bf offered you to go instead of you, but you could. Just persuade him up some and I think it should do. I'm 13 and know very little about this stuff, but I hoped I helped! :-)
