Cute Desk Receptionist

Question Posted Wednesday March 6 2013, 12:23 am

Hello, I am a freshman in college, female. There is a cute guy that works at my school, he's a desk receptionist so his job is to just say hello when you come in a bye when you leave. But, he is also my neighbor. I think he is the most handsome guy and I would love to get to become friends with him but see, he's kinda really cynical and has a dry sense of humor. I heard that he's that way now because of a girl that messed him up a little bit. Anyway, he's in a frat, I know someone else in his frat that I've known since high school. I grab breakfast with this kid a lot and he always talks about my DR and how he's so cool and how he really looks up to him. I was thinking of messaging my cute neighbor/DR on facebook saying something along the lines of "hey, I was grabbing lunch with ______ and he was talking about how much he likes you and looks up to you. I just wanted to say that I think that's really cool and definitely solidified all of the positive thoughts that I've had." I feel like that's worded really retarded-ly, though.

So, if you would be a doll and try to help me figure out when I'm gonna say to him on facebook, that'd be great!! I'm the type of person that knows what I want to say all the time but can never put into words what I want to say. So, if you could really, please, help me with how to say something to him that's coherent and sounds very nice so he has nothing to be smart-allicky about. I want to say that his friend does look up to him, I also wanna say that, somehow, I do think he's cool but I don't want the message to seem like I'm the main point because I'm not. The main point is that people look to him as their role model. I want him to know that, too, because he sometimes gets down on himself. So, if you can somehow put all of that into a small passage that sounds not retarded, I will be forever grateful! Thanks!!

Hello , you know it is not a bad idea to send him message on facebook because people can talk freely online without having any fears so first talk about his friend and what he tells you about him then open a new subject so that way you two become close friends just don't show him that you like him from the first message wait until you guys become close friends then confess that you like him or wait for a little time maybe he likes you too . Don't remind him of the girl that messed him up because he might get pissed off and never want to talk to you again . One more advice be cool because there is nothing to be afraid of :)
