Long time to shut down 19/f/uk Not great with PC's
Okay so, for those advicers out there, please dumb your answers down for me. Techno talk is not my language.
I have a PC at home, that was purchased about 3.5-4 years ago now. Windows 7. Packard Bell. McAfee.
Since going away to university it has not been turned on everyweek (unlike my parents promised) and has missed various McAfee and Windows updates.
I have tried restarting my computer, and have restarted using McAfee Remote Control Service however it is taking over an hour (and still counting) to restart.
Currently its still "shutting down". MY computer system is not slow. Its quite satisfactory. I dont know whats wrong with it.
I am tempted to just turn it off from the button and force a reboot.
Also I have tried a full scan, defrag, and removing unwanted things from my PC such as temporary files etc. All to my knowledge successfully but still no affect.
Any ideas? What should I do?
