About my first question: my messed up love life and never ending wait.

Hmm.It is very difficult for me to move on. I have tried it- moving on will mean staying away from him- losing him as a friend too. Since he is a very close friend, it will be painful for both of us. what to do!

Yes but at the same time, you have to leave the ones you love to have a better love. Im not saying that is the case all the time, but you have to think about you and put yourself first. Think about the future. If this whole situation is holding you back from life and causing you to lose others then its not worth it.
