i like a guy and he likes me but doesnt want a girlfriend right now

i like this guy and me and him are sorta friends but he even said that he likes me and i just feel akward when im near him

Get to know each other more. Its only awkward if you make it awkward. And if he doesnt want a girlfriend right now, do NOT bring it up anymore and do not pressure him into thinking that you really want to be his girlfriend - this will push him away. Just relax, hang out, talk, flirt.
