So me and my ex of four years (off and on) broke up about three weeks ago because we couldn't handle the long distance relationship. I'll admit I was torn up at first cause this guy was my best friend and every time I meet someone it's nothing like what we had. Anyways when we broke up he pretty much told me not to talk to him again if I was going to get mad if he started dating other girls and of course I stopped talking to him but I felt like he was rude about it.. Well last night he texted me asking about something random that happened on the news in my area I didn't reply but then he sent me this "I know we aren't suppose to talk or whatever but I know we won't ever be together again so just talking won't hurt unless you can't let things go lol and I know you and you're not going to let me be the bigger person?"
Seriously?? What is that even suppose to be mean? I get he may want to be friends but I don't think the words "we are never going to be together" is a very concrete argument! I feel like he's using me like he just likes me there to talk to and comfort him and he doesn't have to commit... It just seems so shady. What do you think?
