Why is the skin aound my bikini dark after I shave?
Question Posted Thursday August 2 2012, 5:33 pm
What can I do so it won't be dark after I shave? The skin is darker than the rest of my body. I tried lotion and when I was shaving I used a new clean razor, so why is it so dark around my bikini area?

If you search online, you can find "remedies" for it, but I'm guessing that they're the equivalent of making your genitals larger. You just can't. If you do look at any of these "remedies" be very, very careful. You don't want to mess around too much with that area. A darker bikini area is something that is natural and that many, many people have. If you watch enough porn, you'll notice it. I'm not saying watch porn, but this is definitely a common thing and it's no big deal. Nobody's going to look at you and say "ew", don't worry. It's honestly, totally normal. :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]

My "bikini" area is the darkest part of my body, it's ironic because it's the least exposed-to-sun part of my body, you'd expect the face and arms to be darkest.
