please help me.im 11 my best friend is choosing death and cutting herself as an option because, well, her live is a living romeo and juliet. her father found out that she's dating another boy (five years older than she) and called him and told him to stay away from her. she's devastated and coming to me for help but she is just so sad. she needs help before its to late. details: she's 12, he's 17, so far she's just cut up the length of her arm but im still afraid. she sends me emails saying very sucidile thoughts. please help. also, they were dating for almost a year now

for one thing her father is right to keep them apart. if she is only 12 and already contemplating suicide over being with a boy she is not ready for a real relationship and a boy 17... pretty much any boy will take great advantage of that and her. you need to tell her dad, and you're not being a snitch if you care about her you'll look out for her and say something. you are both too young to be dealing with this b.s.
