hair color: how long until I can re-dye my hair to fix it?
Question Posted Thursday June 21 2012, 5:22 pm
alright. last Wednesday I dyed my hair and it was terrible. so yesterday my friend stripped my hair and then redyed it. well now there are chunks of my hair on the top layer that are lighter than the rest of my hair and it's very obvious. I want to get the same color and go over my hair again because it's annoying and I don't like the random chunks of light hair. so here is my question finally. can I go ahead and redye it possibly in a few days?

Rena-Chan answered Friday June 22 2012, 8:14 am: Some say they have redyed their hair the following day, while others waited several weeks to months. If you are lightening your hair, it is best to wait. Because too much lightening can be very damaging to your hair. If you wait a few weeks, while taking very good care of your hair, such as leave in conditioners, hair masks.. You may be able to redo it. If you plan on darkening your hair, then it should be alright to do so in a few days, it also doesn't hurt to contact your local hair stylists in your area for extra opinions. Best safe than sorry.
