bpd My friend just moved to Texas.. he is struggling with his Borderline Personality disorder but has no insurance to get any help from it.. whether that means meds, therapy, or anything else. He is across the country from me now, but I'd still like to find some way to help him. Are any of you from Texas, or do any of you know anything that would help him.. would he be able to get help from the state or anything until he finds a good paying job over there? He's having a very hard time even finding the motivation to get through the day. Please help.

Yes, Your friend can call around and ask a doctors office if they have a sliding scale. Sliding scale is basically where they allow monthly payments on the bill.
You could recommend to your friend to see if there is a Thundermist in the local area. They are very good at what they do and they work with people who do not have health insurance. If not, Call around and try to find a place that does. ]
