its OK but for some people its normal a 9th grader can date a 7th grader if you are a 7th grader it doesn't mean you are cool and it doesn't mean you are it just means you like a different person then everyone else for a 9th grader same thing the best advice i can give you is just be your self.

It's ok and normal, just as long as the two do not take part in anything sexual. It's illegal and they should wait, but dating is fine! :)
