If this stress continues though, you may wish to consult in a psychiatrist, or perhaps find ways to unwind/destress yourself. If your irregular period is worrisome for you, consult in your doctor and ask about possible options for regulating your menstruation cycle. There are several different medicines available, such as birth controls and what not. But with enough stress, it can alter your flow dramatically, some have even had it stop completely due to stress. Which can sometimes be unhealthy. Also, another consideration is to speak with your doctor to ensure there are no infections. As some infections can mess up your flow as well.
