How do you stay positive and happy when you're injured? I used to be a very happy person, but I currently have carpal tunnel and tendonitis (and a related neck problem). I'm unable to really work (they have me standing greeting people), can't do anything involving repetitive motion, and am in a lot of pain all the time. I'm in physical therapy, so hopefully it'll get better, but how do I stay happy and positive in the meantime? A lot of people think I'm faking it and I just feel so useless all the time. I'm getting really angry and bitter (especially at the way I'm treated by people at work) and it's no good.
Additional info, added Saturday April 21 2012, 12:02 pm: And just so everyone knows, I can't quit, since I'm in the middle of a worker's comp claim. I'm still being forced to work, since I'm not majorly disabled- just the only thing I'm allowed to do is greet people.. Want to answer more questions in the Health & Fitness category? It's not easy to decide what you can/cannot should/should not do, especially for me since I'm not well versed with this I really do not feel that you have a good position where you work because of the expectations it demands on you, physically and emotionally. Now, I'm not trying to say that you should shun yourself from the public, but until you get better physically and emotionally, I think you should try to separate yourself from what makes you angry and bitter.
