Hey there,
Well it really depends on the make and model of the condom. And also whether it is put on correctly. Make sure they are the right size and fit and NEVER purchase from a vending machine in like a hotel. These condoms are poorly manufactured and almost always fail.
When condoms break, semen can leak out, so the use of vaginal spermicides with condoms can help to increase your pregnancy protection should condom failure occur. Typically, 2-5% of all condoms tear during condom use.
You will lower your chances for condom failure if you have a thorough understanding of proper condom use
If used properly condoms are about 85-90% effective.
If you're worried consider other forms of contraception such as the pill.
hope this helps
