Belly button piercing

Question Posted Wednesday February 29 2012, 4:05 pm

I've had my belly button pierced for a little over 4 months. For the first 2-3 months I cleaned daily with sea salt, ran out of it and now have been cleaning with soap and water. I called my piercer a month ago and he said I'm fine to take it out. But, it's still a little tender, not painful, when I touch it or bend down and it like folds in. And there's occasional clear liquid that comes out, and crusts that form on the bottom ring. Am going on vaca in 2 weeks and want to change it.. Does it sound healed enough? And what will happen if it's changed before it's completely healed? Thanks!

I would not change it you need to wait until it doesnt hurt to touch or twist.and there should be absolutely no puss or crusty anything. I am not a piercer but I've had my belly button done twice along with my cartilage, both traguses, my lower earlobes a few times that now is a size 0 g and my bridge and my Monroe
