i don't get my boyfriend about what he's saying? hi, whenever we have an arguement my boyfriend of 13 months says,''he's depressed'' afterwards. what does he mean? we live together and he's in his late 40's and i'm in my mid 30's. we both don't say sorry but afterwards we make up by cuddling and kissing. i feel sad and depressed after the arguement but i never show to him however he goes and say he's depressed. does this mean he really feels bad after the arguement or he just can't say sorry? he also says we should split up whenever we have an arguement. sometimes, if i really irritate him too much he goes and says, ''you know where the door is'' and after a while we start talking to each other and he says,'' he's depressed and sad.'' so guys, what does he actually mean? does he want us to split up or does he not love me anymore? thanks to you all.

This is not about you. Being depressed can be caused by many many things. It could be your fights. but just because he's depressed does not mean he doesn't love you. maybe he just needs to sort out what's bothering him aka the split. just to not bring you down? ]
