Chances of Pregnancy after taking i-pill I am a woman of 21 years, from India. My fiance and i "did not" have sex. Though there is a possibility his pre-cum might have reached my vagina. So i took an i-pill immediately. had my last periods on 15 Dec 2011. we made out on 3rd january 2012. And i am supposed to get my periods tomorrow. We haven't planned on pregnancy yet. and we will use a condom from next time. this was unexpected. have been a little worried. what are the chances of getting pregnant after taking i-pill? is it okay for periods to get delayed after taking the pill? how long should i wait before taking a pregnancy test?

"Emergency contraception is also known as the morning-after pill, emergency birth control, backup birth control, and by the brand names Plan B One-Step, ella, and Next Choice. Plan B One-Step and Next Choice reduce the risk of pregnancy by 89 percent when started within 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. They continue to reduce the risk of pregnancy up to 120 hours after unprotected intercourse, but they are less effective as time passes."
