Vitamin pill making me sick

Question Posted Sunday January 8 2012, 1:33 am

My doctor told me i needed to take multivitamin and vitamin d, but recently when I take the multivitamin shortly after I get dizzy and nauseous. A couple of occasions I dry gagged. Why are the vitamins making me do that. I have been taking them for over a year now and this has never happened to me? What does this mean? Should I stop taking it and try something else?

Since you have been taking the vitamins this long it may or may not be the vitamins. Have you changed brands. Did you go from an all Natural vitamin to a synthetic vitamin. If so this may be the problem. Then I would suggest you go back to the brand or type of vitamin you were taking.

If it is not any of the above then it is probably something else like a mild stomach bug that possibly the vitamins irritated. If it continues then see your doctor.
