Paypal Dispute.

Question Posted Thursday December 8 2011, 5:51 pm

I opened up a Paypal dispute with somebody because I bought virtual goods from someone and that person has yet to send me those goods. I've sent many emails over a period of 40 days with not a single response, yet this person updates theit website daily.

Anyway, Paypal says if the person does not respond to me within 10 days, they will close the dispute. But I'm unsure of what that exactly means. Does that mean that I will automatically get my money back?

They will close the dispute, as in your claim is now void. You either have to file another claim or you have to accept that you have been scammed.

You can go to Paypal's Help Center and contact them with an email that describes your situation. Include the online receipt and any other proof that you think might be needed.

If it's been over 40 days, then I think you are at a loss. 40 days is well over a month, but you might be able to get your money back.
