Saying no when a guys asks you out

What do you do if a guy friend asks you out, but you want to say no AND keep the friendship?

think about if first.do u like him in that way.is the guy and understanding friend.if he is then say no but not in a mean way to get him upset.also give a reason why:like if we go out and then something happens and we are mad at each other it is gonna separate us and i really enjoy being friend with you.and if u feel comfortable give him a kiss on the cheek. :) hope things work out
