Scars don't completely go away, but a few home remedies to fade it are:

1. Cut a raw potato in half and rub it on the scar once a day.

2. Apply lemon juice with a Q-rip on the scar

3. Take a ripe tomato and juice it, use the juice as a masque.

The scar will never completely go away - but it may fade. Over time, scars fade anyway but to help to speed up that time you can put some lemon juice over the scar; this supposedly makes it fade. You can also try that with some sandalwood powder. Aloe gel is also beneficial for the skin and can help the scar to heal faster. The same goes for vitamin E, which is available as an oil at most medical stores. Most importantly drink enough water daily and use a moisturizer if necessary.
