The dress from the above link is something a I want to wear to this theatre production. I have tanned skin and dark hair, so I thought the red would be great as it would bring out my features, and also I wanted to pair it up with my black heels and black belt. So the question is, I'm from a conservative family and the dress has a cut out at the back, is there a way I can hide it? Wear a jacket or something? Or wear a singlet underneath? any ideas?
And for my legs,I was thinking of wearing some sheer black tights. But not too see through.
I still want to look elegant and classy, as much as I can. :)
So what is everyone's advice on that? Any ideas/options etc. would be greatly appreciated.
Or you can wear a black tank top underneath to hide the open back.
I'm not sure how tall you are, but the dress looks like its short on the model, so I would definitely wear the tights.
I don't love the way they have the belts in the picture, so don't wear one if it kind of pulls the dress down like that. You want the flouncy-ness of the top to remain with a belt. If you do wear a belt, I recommend a black or gold/silver one.
I think big, chandelier earrings would look great with this.
