How to talk to a cute guy

Question Posted Thursday August 25 2011, 10:38 pm

I started high school yesterday and noticed an EXTREMELY cute boy in two of my classes. He is so adorable and I already have a massive crush on him. But how do I talk to him? He's pretty quiet and I think I would have to make the first move. There's not really much time to talk in class... But some days maybe there will be. I'm bad at talking to boys and I would just feel so funny going up to him and talking! Please tell me how to initiate a conversation with him in a non-awkward place or time. Ahhh he's so cute!

Just start out by smiling at him if he looks your way. You don't need to have a full-on conversation to have him notice and want to talk to you. You need to start out with small things... like a flirty smile, or making a joke out of something in class. Guys appreciate you trying to make them laugh even if it's not that funny. If they find you attractive, they'll think it's cute. The only thing that kinda worries me is that he's really quiet... so, just make the first move. Make sure you're not making ALL the moves though. If you talk to him first or smile at him first and he has no response, then forget about it. Girls should never be the one to always initiate because it takes the guy out of their rightful place. If he doesn't take the hint and talk to you first after already talking to him a couple times, then he's not worth it.
