is it cool to have a purple streak in black hair

Personally i think it strongly depends on personal choice.

But in the looks department i would say it would look better in long, rather than short hair.

Of course the location also plays a part.

The back may look better than the front.

Alsi if you accessories, say with jewellery,tatts,piercings.Clothing Than it wont stand out as much. (If youre worried about it being to outstanding??)

yeah thats pretty tight. Or you could try red :) red is bolder and more fierce. But if that's too much for you, then purple is great too :)
